Comparing size, then yes, your brian can be more powerful then a computer, but with today's technology, unlikely.

Your eyes are useful but cameras today can see, record, zoom farther, etc. while all remaining in HD which is near the perfectness of reality.

Best graphics is not reality since graphics don't exist in reality, only in visuals from screens from technology. But of course reality is better looking, everyone knows that...

Actually it's really cold, any room with a supercomputer like that has 24/7 cooling under the floor. It's pretty uncomfortable being in the same room, plus they are loud.... the video doesn't do it justice =)

We keep on bringing up crysis, because it is literally a supercomputer "killer"....what they are trying to say jokingly is that, dont boast you have a supercomputer UNLESS it can run crysis fluidly, as it is 1 of the most demanding applications there is to put on a modern day computer...i guess it has become a "computing benchmark" of sorts, lol, btw i think the game itself is good! but its all to do with taste i suppose :) my computers can't run it properly and i have "decent rigs"

you can: lower the resolution and the AA

and you maybe can set the robust graphics booster to turbo it worked for me =D

Lol, already done that, and ""graphics booster"? wtf!! haven't heard that expression except for maybe some integrated chips on a laptop.....no, i mean i have a decent rig=3.8 gigahertz overclocked 780i sli with a 9800GX2 graphics card, i was referring to running crysis at 2560x1600, very high, AAx16!! AFx16, love to see "Ranger" try and handle that, lol...it might crash, but thanks anyway for the tips :)

graphics booster is a thing that overclocks your grahpics cards it was on the bios at my pc

p.s. i even cant run any game at 2560x1600 cause thats bigger then my screen :P lol

I use Rivatuner myself, and my other rig has a stock GTX285 asus graphic card which is the worlds second most powerful single gpu out there but even that would struggle with crysis at anything above 1920x1200 resolution.....i dont know of anyone who has a 2560x1600 resolution monitor, lol

Lol, you might get away with it on 640x400 resolution, all settings on LOW, no AA, no AF, defrag the hard drive first, stop all non microsoft services, and lots of prayer!, lol..i tried crysis once for a joke on a 256 megabyte card which for most things is pretty good, but on those settings i averaged only about 4-9 frames per second!, it was a slideshow and not playable, Ranger might get 15 frames per second, lol

You are correct, Ranger was not the fastest supercomputer at the time. What was true is that Ranger was the fastest supercomputer dedicated to open academic research. That is not the case with Los Alamos.

amd processors are slower than intel cpu's, BUT, they have lower latancys and use less power, on average.

what processer works best for you depends on your requirments, so amd may suck for you but it's just fine for me(although i would rather have a more powerful intel quad)
