Awesome message means alot too me thanks, i play bongos and drums for my youth group and sometimes church. its not about what people think or how many cool beats you got in there its about God! thanks again.
@aldyraldy Thank you, it was a relatively old video but I believe the message still stands...thank you very much for watching and God bless you friend!
Amen, I play the drums at church and I agree that worshipping is from the heart not just making noise, or just to show off your talent! its to Gods glory amen amen!
@john5699 really? ok let me tell you how exactly it is. In our uni group,
we have got a classical guitar and my bongos. that is it. unlike u, my bongos are just two little drums that attached together. I wonder how we could make it a good worship with what we have got here. (we usually play songs like Hillsongs, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin etc)
@lotteboyhk I understand. Thank you for writing. Well, it will depend upon the exact type of bongos you have really (which by the way the drums you described are actually called bongos. The larger drums I am playing in the video are congas). The bongos are a versatile instrument with an immense amount of potential. Much of the slower romantic style boleros are played with bongos as well. Provided they are at least mid-grade plus bongos (at least lp aspire and above which I would then buy perhap
@lotteboyhk s an LP hand picked style or synthetic head for the smaller one) you can get quite a bit of sound from them. You can even play them with your drum set. It will take some work but the best thing is to really learn the instrument here are a couple really good videos to watch. I will post more on this later. God bless you!
Im a conguero in church as well and brother all I can do and say to that is AMEN! The LORD has spoken!Thank you for those encouraging words and be blessed and I've learned something from you..I would pay whatever to hear a musician playing for our GOD in his practice room!
Amen Amen! You know I really believe that not only is God doing great things all over the earth but through the congueros y percussionists. God bless you brother!
thanks for the input brother.i was going to get rid of my congas due to the fact of my past involment in santeria.but i have been redeemed.praise the lord.i will play and praise not just play.i have been a christian for a few years .not just a christian but a changed lifestyle.i no longer live in bondage and i have been comtemplating playing my congas i will again due to your insight.thank you brother god bless you and your knowledge that you have attained from our father in heaven.
