  • I have a question, if my psu has three 12v rails , then does the amperage stack from them?Because if my video card needs one pci express 6 pin connector ,will it get the required amperage of 40 ? if i count all the amps from those 12v rails together it is 46A

  • this looks great but puts me off from the comments on newegg...3/5 eggs

  • is it quiet

  • Does any power supply more than 600W have extra space for 2 6-pin PCI-Express connections from the bigger graphics cards?

  • Hmm that seems like a great case which is it? correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's the haf series or something It has some good cable managment holes just what I need!

  • @wawa779, yes you are corect its the CM HAF932, you can watch my reviews on the 932 and the 922 HAF cases I did.

  • Ok thanks fast reply lol :)

  • Do you record the video with just your hands and then speak over the the video once it's done? I feel like your hands are quite acting as your speaking its bugging me not knowing lol.

  • Im getting a intel core i7 920. Is there a specific power supplie I need?

  • Not really, just a great PSU that can handle your rig you're about to build.

  • no.........

  • there is a 1500W version of this PSU. you should review it. its very cool.

  • hw many pci-e cables [for graphic card]?

  • A new graphics card these days take 1 or 2 PCIe connectors, this PSU has plenty to support multiple GPU's

  • would this support two 9800 gtx in sli?

  • Yes it does.

  • thanks

And does it do i7 support?

  • Yes, for sure!

  • thanks a lot im so getting this!

  • how many molex adaptors do you get with this?

  • You get seven of them.

  • thanks also like what adaptor to 120mm fans attach to? sorry im a bit of a noob :P

  • molex or three pin to mobo

  • thats quite a good PSU m8

  • Very nice review, but I don't think I'll be buying one of these. My 650w PSU is plenty to handle my 4850. (and it is rated high enough that I won't need a new power supply for quite some time.)

  • hi since my message didnt fit in here i send a private message to you plz look at it

  • Thank you! I appreciate these videos.

  • Please keep these videos coming, love them!

  • cooL!!!!

  • if u want and if u got time ic an send a link for each part im planning to get and see how it is thankyou for aLL the help

  • wow. those modules sockets were a great idea by who ever created it lol i love how it has pictures and that monster fan! great video!

  • Seems like a solid PSU. I believe it's built by CWT who also makes many of the Corsair and Thermaltake PSU's. All good names so I'm sure this one's great too!

  • nice vid... good stuff keep it up.

  • nice!!!!! modular designe only 24 pins is out (ofcource your gunna have to use the 24 pin duhhh) i like i like!!

  • nice vid, that psu got enough cables :), do we get to see the rest of the PC when it's done or....?

  • nice psu

  • awsome!!!! 5 stars!!!

altho, I DO WANNA Ask you something...

IN EVERY DAMN VIDEO, U HAVE A ""CERTAIN SONG"" PLAYING,

    WHATS THE NAME OF IT

WHOS THE ARTIST AND WHERE DID U GET IT, AND IT IS AVAIL FOR DLOAD??

  • Hi the music is from Incompetech and its called Gearhead.

  • hey thanks, i looked it up and found it :-)

  • Is that PSU backwards compatible for the old ATXV1? I'm guessing it would be, I never will fully understand power supply units.

  • The motherboard connector is both 20 or 24pin so its compatible with different boards.

  • Hey thanks fo your help the other day much appreciated.

  • what are the parts in your pc ?

  • Hi, thanks for subscribing. I have used all the other Hardware components I have done reviews with (See my other videos) in all the systems I build, and I also mix them around when testing to see how they perform.

  • Looks like a really good power supply but way too expensive. $250 on Newegg. You can get a Corsair 1000W for that or a different modular 850W for $100 less...

  • hey pcwizguy im thinking of buying a power supply on my old pc but i kept wondering this question.does any power supply is compatible with any motherboard like a intel one?

  • Yes, pretty much. Though now with the new Core i7 there are PSU's made for that specifically. But most are generic.

  • should you have the fan facing out? i had mine facing up, runs cool, but i keep dropping screws in!

    (i got an 800w though)

  • Well the issue is do you want warm air blowing into your case from the PSU?

  • nice, but expensive

  • hi not to streess you or anything when are u planning to make the review about a suiting cooler for me

  • Hey dont worry man, its coming, its in the queue of videos coming out soon.

  • thanks dude for helping me another question what ram should i get i heard i cant use 4 gb ram with core i7 i need tripple channel what does that mean ddr3 ????

  • Hi yes DDR3 like the ones I specified in my hardware list on my website. you can install 3x2Gig modules if you want for a total of 6Gig ram.

I like the corsair ddr3 I have (see my site for details).

  • i subscribed i luv ur vids is there much of a difference between ddr3 tri 1333mhz and 1600mhz its just that 1333 is alot cheaper and im just a kid with $1000. also is this psu suffice for: -Intel i7 920 -Corshair 3x2048mb 1333mhz tri -Gigabyte GA-EX58-EXTREME Motherboard -XFX GeForce GTX 280 -500gb HDD thanks
  • Hi this PSU is more than enough for your configuration. Also for the DDR , if your getting a Core i7 DDR3-1333 provides a peak bandwidth of 21.3GB/s, while DDR3-1600 reaches 25.6GB/s, more is better, which means that you can read/write more with DDR3-1600. its upto you. If your on a budget get 1333.

  • ok thanks for teaching me the diff between 1333 and 1600

considering ill be gaming and video editing montages/machinima

    1333 should be good?

    thanks

  • good review. Thanks even tho My new PC has like none of the parts you reviewed LOL

  • Well done as always

  • very nice ps!!!!!

  • looks awesome

  • good review

  • COOL

  • First :] Anyway, awesome review. Where did you get this PSU?

  • Lol, Late by 14 seconds xD

  • I got it from In Win. They are coming out with some nice PSU's.

  • Can you give me the site?

  • ya, its listed at the end of the video. you can google In Win Style and its the first hit.

  • Cool!

  • Nice review man
