Family Guy is just not an original show. I'd describe it as "random" humor, something that I grew out of years ago. Doing a word-for-word rendition of a monologue from Planes, Trains and Automobiles, a classic 80's comedy that 99% of Family Guy's teenage audience wouldn't have seen, is just not funny to me. Sorry Richard.

I am such a fan of Family Guy that I will boycott South Park just because they speak badly of Seth. Fuck Matt Stone and Trey Parker if those are their names, i'm not 100%. The cutaways are the best part, how can they hate on them as not authentic laughs. Fucking jealousy. It's like stand up comedians hating on Carrot Top for using props. If they make people laugh and you have your own show in Vegas, hating on that makes you look like a jealous hack.

Absolutely correct. What sort of bullshit is that to be saying that somebody is getting the wrong kind of laughs? Especially from a series (which I like by the way) which got started by doing gross out humour and the novelty of potty-mouthed kids.

I have less respect for Matt and Trey for going there. Can you imagine the writers at Friends bitching about Frasier getting easy laughs? Of course not.
