  • Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. In answer to your question; I used the one supplied with the kit, but found that it was too flimsy for flying so I filled each cylinder with silicon sealer and after hardening it formed a tough dummy engine and added some needed nose weight to the model. I have used this technique before with William's brothers cylinders as a pattern and play dough for the mold.

  • Thanks for the comment. I know what you are saying about too many projects and so little time for building. The Gee Bee will be a great flying racing machine. The Sterling kit was a lot of building,
