Just as people have a right to like something or not, we can call this stuff "weird" and "creepy" if we want. It may be "art" to you but art is not always art to all people and everyone has different tastes, opinions, ect. "Art" is subjective. I like some things that some people consider weird and creepy and one of my own works was deemed creepy by one person and I didn't mind it at all in fact I was thrilled they called it creepy. I remember when I first listened to this song (and even after multiple listens), I didn't think she was speaking English, or that her words were playing backwards. It wasn't until I looked up the lyrics that I realized her words are just distorted, but understandable. This song isn't the most pleasant on the ears, but there's something about the delivery and ambiance of it that captivates me. Especially when in the larger context of the story/theme of the songs and vids.

I don't think art necessarily needs to be philosophical to be great art. My personal opinion is that great art is anything that inspires great emotion, whatever that emotion may be. It deeply impresses me when an artist finds a way to creep inside you and shift things around inside your brain. It might have had something to do with the wine but the beautiful desolation and strangeness of this video moved me tremendously.
