help! glovepie is not reading my wiimote presses. if I write a = wiimote.A or wiimote.A = A nothing happens, but it can read my key presses just fine. Wiimote.Rumble = Shift works, but that is pressed on the keyboard. I tried this on my classic controller to and it did not work. Thank you for your time.
BlueSoleil is not free from what I remember... the Toshiba Bluetooth Stacker is free and supports most bluetooth devices... then just download GlovePie.. read a few example scripts and you'll get the hang of it very easily.
I'm trying to do this too, but somehow, it seems the wiimote can't send data to my pc, but my pc does send data to the wiimote. Really annoying when the only thing your wiimote does is buzzing and flashing its LEDs.
This script comes with GlovePIE. But they have others around the web, even one where you can use the wiimote as a pointing device providing you have some LED, like the wii's sensor bar.
i got glovepie and i got my wiimote connected to my computer but it wont... FULLY connect... it says its connected but all it does is flash as if its still looking for my computers bluetooth.

Can you connect the Wii Remote to the computer with GlovePie, without BlueSoleil?
Pvsmuntje 2 years ago
Yeah as long as you have bluetooth. BlueSoleil just got support for wii controls.
