she starts the monologue in the present rather than the past its confusing. also maynard was an educated man so his speech should be more articulate than hosea's. and I agree with madeline i think it was a little too intense in the end.

some of you critics need 2 understand acting is about interpretation...therefore when it's done well there isn't right or wrong between varying portrayals.

I was sucked into her performance and can actually see the characters she was emoting even the house/hallway/steps outside and kitchen

I know your are trained from this piece but I can see the acting , and its predictable. you are only experience one emotion constantly frantic takes away from the emotion of the work , and if your speaking about it in the third person it should feel like an old wound not a wound that happened 5 minutes ago .

I am also an actress and would look forward to any feedback when I upload my monologue .
