Are you kidding me! iam a true perfectionist musician (as evidenced by years of blood, sweat and tears) and i know in fact how lucky it is to find exceptional musicians, but Tarja is even more than exceptional (quite arguably the greatest singer of recorded history) what demon did these 2-bit amateurs have to sell their souls to for such a scarce privelage. Well Tarja certainly was great from angels fall first up to wishmaster & over the hills & far away... but on century child her voice was a musical overkill. The songs demanded a softer aproach on the vocals, yet she still added a very classical note to the songs that felt a bit out of place sometimes (ever dream, slaying the dreamer, feel for you) whereas on once her voice fell totally out of place on several tracks like wish I had an angel, Creek , Romanticide. Nightwish needed something new

Tarja brought her husband Marcelo Cabuli too close to nightwish, and was being a diva. She didn´t show up at practice, only concerts and studio she did with the band. Glad she got what she asked for.

There are always two sides to any conflict, and it seems that in Nightwish's case the main culprit was bad communication between Tarja and NW's Management along with Tuomas.
well, it's a bit difficult to adjust to the new NW after years and years of listening NW with Tarja...but I managed to find the new NW also very good...I just needed some time...also Tarja told that she will do only one more album with NW and then go solo...I don't understand why so many people spill on Tuomas and the others for kicking Tarja from the band...one album with her...more or less...it's the same for me...yes, it is sad the vay they did it all public, but hey...is was their decision..

Tarja will not be back in Nightwish. If I was Tuomas(or any other of the band members) I would not let her back at any prize. Tuomas never wrote a really agressive song before Master Passion Greed which shows what are his feelings for Marcelo Cabuli. I think this is far enough reason.

*sigh* Why don't you just support Tarja the way she goes now? I think she never would come back to Nightwish if she had a choice. And lol, Nightwish is very many things without Tarja - Tuomas is the band's soul, and have always been, not Tarja. I still support and love all of them - Tarja and Nightwish.

its very hard to find a voice like tarja's voice but its very easy to find a keyboard player like tuomas or a writter like him E.g : mark jansen :) he writes good songs and he is so humble :)

Tarja brought her husband Marcelo Cabuli too close to nightwish, and was being a diva. She didn´t show up at practice, only concerts and studio she did with the band. Glad she got what she asked for.

As far as Tarja and the band goes, she won't be returning. Tarja is doing her own solo and she seems to be happy. If you guys really loved Tarja you would let her do her own thing. asking her to join a band who she doesn't communicate with is being selfish on your part.
The guys like Anette and they look happy with their replacement. Deal with it.

A band is a group right and should work as such. But Tarja was taking over too much and she basicly became leader and wouldnt give into other ideas.
So they had to boot her.
I love Tarja as much as the next guy but I can understand also why they booted her. :(

I just adore Tarja...one of her biggest fans.
but I don't want that she come back, not after all they said to her...and we all know that won't happened.
maybe it's true that nightwish needs tarja and that tarja needs nightwish.
after she got kicked out i somehow stopped listening nightwish's music and started to listen tarja's solo...
for me, it's much better...now tarja's voice is so much better, more mystic, dramatic, more opera...
i just love her now.maybe even more than in nightwish.

I think the tarja's melodies are much better in nightwish, tuomas have the way of her voice, in the tarja's carrera solo, she sound so lost in her notes, anyway , she sing like an angel in this one, but I love more the poetry than the voice

Try reading something OTHER than Tuomas's side for a change. Or are you so infactuated with Tuomas you believe he can't do anything wrong?
He's a brilliant musician, songwriter, and from what I can tell a great guy, but he's still human. He can make mistakes like anyone else.
There are always two sides to any conflict, and it seems that in Nightwish's case the main culprit was bad communication between Tarja and NW's Management along with Tuomas.

well, it's a bit difficult to adjust to the new NW after years and years of listening NW with Tarja...but I managed to find the new NW also very good...I just needed some time...also Tarja told that she will do only one more album with NW and then go solo...I don't understand why so many people spill on Tuomas and the others for kicking Tarja from the band...one album with her...more or less...it's the same for me...yes, it is sad the vay they did it all public, but hey...is was their decision..

Tarja will not be back in Nightwish. If I was Tuomas(or any other of the band members) I would not let her back at any prize. Tuomas never wrote a really agressive song before Master Passion Greed which shows what are his feelings for Marcelo Cabuli. I think this is far enough reason.

tarja isnt nightwish. why? ill tell you why. tuomas is nightwish. tuomas wrote all the songs. tarja never did anything for nightwish. she didnt arrange anything, didnt write anything, didnt reherse, even canceled a concert to go out with her boyfriend! the things she said and did contradict what it means to be in a band, and for that in contradicts nightwish. All points from a man who was covering his ass for a controversial decision that could have backfire on him. As I said in my other reply, Tuomas isn't perfect, no one is. You shouldn't just read one side of this story. Even the nicest people can have moments where they are total jerks. As much as i would love to hear Tarja singing with nightwish again..o at a huge arena with a choir and orchestra,how beautiful that would be..but it will never happen. Tarja has got a great solo career and is making music that suits her as an artist and person and Nw are doing good now..She smiles a lot more than ive ever noticed that she did in NW..

I agree! Tarja seems so happy now and Im happy for her! I can understand some people may be disappointed about mws, but I think its a great album with wonderful music, its so Tarja.
Though she hasnt written the songs, she managed to make the songwriters understand what she was after, and the result was just perfect for her..

"Tuomas remember"... he should, but he doesn't want to. there's nothing innoscent in him anymore, he is not the man we used to admire and worship with all our hearts. now it's all about pride, fame and money. seeing our sweet tarja back in nightwish would be like the rebirth of my hopes that true music, true feelings and true love still exist. gives me such great sorrow even to think about how the nightwish we used to adore have turn out to be... alone and empty...

You may have forgotten that it was Tarja who wanted to leave the band. Other Nightwish members just decided on her behalf because she kept talking about it and built up her own career at the same time
I think that you are totally unreasonable in your judgements. Tarja is the villain of this story while Tuomas gets the blame.

Yes..she wanted to leave.. and the fact why I blame Tuomas is that, if she would have left anyway, there was no need to kick her out. That was a dirty move from the guys, and something to put a bad mark on her name and to make the things seemlike they are the victims.

You cant be serious! Would you make a one last album with a person you just cant get a long with. Like Tarja and nw has both said, they were unhappy, fighting about venues and gigs all the time, and not even talking..why the hell should have they suffered together anymore. Dismissing her wasnt wrong at all, but the way they did it was nasty. ps: though Im a nw fan, I try not to take sides on this thing cause I think they were all to blame..
