I love this series and to this very day I how I wish they could have ended it in another way e.g. Catherine spending her pregnancy time with Vincent below the city and just died of child birth.

Catherine's death is so sad, but Linda wanted to leave the show. I liked when they introduced Diana. I thought her and Vincent also had chemistry, but the rating went down and sadly the show was canceled. Glad it's lived on. What a great series! Beautifully written & acted.

I watched season three once just because I needed to know what happened but I'm way to emotional to watch it again I watch until this episode then I start over again and everytime I get so upset when Catharine dies.

What were the writers thinking when they killed Catherine Chandler? Why couldn't Linda Hamilton be written out of the show for season 3 with the hope, the possiblity, that she would return for season 4? I don't know why the writers would decide to end such a story so tragically. I continue to watch the show almost daily and love it. Still, I cannot come to grips with Catherine Chandler's death. It's a wonderful show. The best! Ron Perlman, Linda Hamilton, and all involved should be so proud.

@MrJames2277 If I'm write on the chronology, she was actually pregnant during this episode, they hid it well with baggy clothes in the 1st part ( though, you can see it in her face that she is pregnant.) It was her decision to leave and I recall her not wanting to come back. So I guess, in their best interest of the show (not such a good decision) they killed off Cathy and tried to make way for Diana....didn't pan out, obviously. Though, I must say that this season was the most dramatic!!!

I cried my heart out in S3. I did not want to watch it, but I am the type who likes to finish what I started. I feel like an idiot crying over a TV series, but GOD it was heart wrenching to watch Vincent and Catherine part. They could have written it differently. The suggestion that Vincent will learn to love Diana made me so furious. What is the point of having the "bond" if Vincent is going to be paired with another? His new love would be incomparable to what he had with Catherine!

I only watched up to the last embrace...it took me 21 years to watch season 3 a second time and I have all the DVDs. Thank you for your effort in putting all the seasons on utube. I watch them every day. I just love this show--so much!

@bnejaforever Este personaje esta basado en amor que el siente por la humanidad y su frustacion que siente por tanto crimen e injusticia que existe en el mundo de Catherine, por eso ella lo ama por su sensibilidad y por el amor que el siente por el projimo y lucha encontra del crimen y defiende a los debiles y mas que nada proteje a los niños, este personaje es mas humano que los hombres en la vida real que violan mujeres y niños y los matan sin piedad, eso es bestialidad y asqueroso.
