cant understand whats wrong in russian submarine? disaster at first introduce at k19 the first nuclear soviet submarine in 1961, the tragic disaster ever happen.
Which relavance does the Typhoon sub at 0:28 and 1:46 have to do which the Nerpa attack sub in the Sea of Japan. And why whould the russian navy be testing thier new sub so relativly "close" to Japan > Other than to show off?
Не мы бомбили Ливию, Ирак или Югославию. Не под нашим патронатом была устроена резня тутси в африке. Миру нечего нас боятся. Следует лишь боятся новоявленым Наполеонам.

Both the U.S. and Russia have had sub accidents. But the Russian accidents seem to be worse and take more lives. And a lot of them have to do with the nuclear reactors. And dont forget that during the cold war a lot of Soviet sub accidents were not reported due to Soviet secrecy and paranoia. The Soviets have an ugly record when it comes to nuclear safety. Dont forget what happened at Chernobyl back in the 80s. Hundreds of thousands dead or poisoned by radiation. They obviously cant get it right
the united states had the best generals during the last war - General motors, General Food, General Electric , General Dynamics. the could out produce any nation on the earth.
@jim447 you are exactly correct....just as Yamamoto said after Pearl Harbor, I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant....and well, we all know how that came out.....
@jim447 The Russians vastly out-paced American production, especially where comparing the T-34 to the Sherman (don't forget, that the vast majority of the German military machine was destroyed on the "eastern" front). What's more, the T-34 was a vastly superior tank in most regards; the Germans, fighting both, certainly thought so.
@l2ealllllyyy Remember the USA had to have production for 2 fronts / Japan and Europe. the USA not only had to produce for there own use but for other nations. I would challenge that the USA out produce the Russians. Example the liberty ships - built in 7 days. There is more to production than tanks
@jim447 It doesn't matter how many ways a nation's production was divided, "total" Russian production far outstripped that of the US by war's end. Production was still immensely labor-driven in the forties, and Russian industry had an immensely greater labor pool to draw on. It was simple mathematics; the power (Soviet Union) which destroyed more than two thirds of total, wartime Axis power had to build the tools necessary to carry that majority share of the fighting.
@l2ealllllyyy and the united states destroyed the majority of the japanese force in the pacific. Where do u think the production came from ( the usa). Production for the a bomb and radar was in the us. ( all be it radar development perfection was from the UK). The US had a very diverse industrial production. And not reverse engineering.
@jim447 ever heard of the convoys leaving the uk for russia during ww2??? duh!!! that was what the battle for the atlantic was all about!!!! supplying the russians to fight the germans!!!!
@shagger781 If you are referring to the Bismarck, asshole, then you should know the story before posting. The ship was state of the art but you cannot have ONE ship against the entire navy of a nation which has always been at sea. By the way, did you know that the Apollo series of rockets were all based on German technology? In fact, the engineers were all German! USA would never hit the moon without the Germans.
@shagger781 who the fuck are you talking to you piece of dogshite on my shoe!!!! no need to guess where your from, only one country in the worlds got there head up there own arses like you have. eat my cum you fookin spunk monkey gaylord p.s wasn't there a whole pack of u boats and didnt the u boats make it to america aswell..pps thats right fag boy they were taken to america and worked on the designs for rockets.....ppps your still a fat fookin spotty acne riddled gimp!!!!!! NOW FOOK OFF!!!!!!!
USS Darter? (SSN-227 and 576) Why or how does this happen? Never heard of this in the US naval history before (or don't know). I DO know that the HMS Invincible's name was replaced from its original vessel onto their flagship (an aircraft carrier I think).
@imallpissedoff oh really Mr. Informed? US submarine accidents: USS Atlanta (SSN-712), USS Augusta (SSN-710) USS Batfish (SSN-681), USS Bergall (SSN-667), USS Bonefish (SS-582), USS Chopper (SS-342), USS Cochino (SS-345), USS Daniel Boone (SSBN-629), USS Darter (SS-227), USS Darter (SS-576), USS Dolphin (AGSS-555), USS Drum (SSN-677), Ehime Maru and USS Greeneville collision, USS F-1 (SS-20), USS F-3 (SS-22)... it's a long list... there's too many accidents to conclude what, Mr. Informed?...
@imallpissedoff I say: 64 different class US subs accidents documented, 12 different class subs Russian documented... the Russian accidents had been more dramatic and therefore more notable to mention, check it out, US subs have more minor accidents and Russian subs have dramatic accidents. conclusion: you can't conclude without doubt Russian subs suck based on that.
U.S. subs have accidents like collisions with Soviet subs and undersea mounts but, Soviet subs have explosions and fires with most or all of the crew lost.
The U.S. hasn't lost a sub since the early 60's. The Russians have recent submarine catastrophies.
It's accepted, worldwide, that the Soviet Union, and continuing on with Russia, has had a poor submarine safety record.
@imallpissedoff I'm aware of it, that's why I say US are less dramatic accidents, what do you expect to happen with an inner explosion? if we compare the numbers of subs active and the number of catrastofic accidents we can't conclude they suck... it's very diferent to have a poor safety record from your (a bit bias in my opinion) generalization. I say you can't conclude that theyr submarines suck in general (realize is difficult to explain thing in english for me ok?)
@straightgreaze Right. Like all that wonderful technology that NEVER came from the UK. Hitler was sending rockets into you and you were throwing tea back at them.
Thank GOD for the USA or you would be a german right now you American hating weirdo. What an idiot. American people love the UK. You are the only idiot on the island?
@Lifeisincredible911 And mate, you haven't really won yourself any favours by this post either. IF the Germans had socked us in the summer of 1940 YOU would also speaking German, Italian and... Oh oh... Probably an awful lot of Japanese... Careful with your take on History it can come back at you.
@Ecthaelyon Im not your enemy. I think you crossed your teas this day? I am your friend you wanker. And I would die for your freedom, just as my grandfather did. Good day friend
@Lifeisincredible911 Actually, the U.K. was throwing the only combat-ready allied jet fighter to be produced during the war ... the "British" Gloster Meteor ... at them. Nevermind that the British had already destroyed most German air power in western Europe over four years before d-day, and nevermind that the Soviet Union was responsible for destroying more of the German military machine than all western allies combined. The U.S. helped hasten an end of the war in Europe, already decided.
@l2ealllllyyy Actually. You just lied. The Gloster NEVER (EVER) at ANY time
was used during WW2. Google it. There is a reason you guys had to fly at certain times of days mate. Truth is harsh but the Americans flew the worst times because your country asked not to fly at those times. Research. Its the truth. I love UK.
@Lifeisincredible911 Which Second World War are you talking about? The "actual" Second World War was 1939-1945 and, yes, the Gloster Meteor flew in it (first flying 1943, fist combat 1944). The UK didn't ask to fly nights; they had adopted night-bombing as early as 1940, and were vastly more accurate (the US having never done it) by the time the US entered the war. Nights were more dangerous in many respects, given the navigational hazards and threat of radar-equipped German night fighters.
I still can not believe you tried telling me england was flying enlisted Jet fighters against Germany in ww2. When the thing didnt fly in the air force until after ww2.
And the snobby shit of all. Is you tried to put me down as if I knew nothing about history. And you were fucking wrong altogether. What an asshole
What are you, some greasy, muslim, dune coon, living in the U.K. and sucking up the wellfare because islam has destroyed whatever sandy dump you came from?
All of this can be avoided if they perform PMCS (Preventive Maintenance, Checks and Services), an acronym used in the US Army. Another way of looking it?
well, there is a risk, that russian submarine return from journey:))) Kursk......sanked by British submarine, by mine, by own submarine, by KGB, by CIA, how can be so stupid people as russians????
yes but is not tollerable for a NUCLEAR submarine .... stay in ure country water i don t want a big nuclear shit in mediterranean see for a "just a human mistake" and russian are famous in the world for his attention, quality and servicing
@jackpwnage117 Backward brain at you !!! Think that you write! There people were lost and you write such rubbish. When yours the ships fall not who about technology don't remember and about Hiroshima and Nagasaki I will keep silent...
This is why Russia should not have any sort of weapon. They end up killing more of themselves than they do any enemy. Just imagine a nuclear war!-Their missiles would blow up in their own silos. Star City all over again. Even civilian nuclear energy leaves entire cities dead.
Russia should just grow crops and shut the hell up.
nah i think they got gas wrong its where the air is sucked out of the room i almost had it happen to me when i was working at orange with big computers and servers
india should buy british submarines!...not russian rusted junk fart tube coffins of death...this sub is now a haunted ghost ship...with skeleton ghost sailors at night ...climbing into your hot bunk as you try to sleep!
india is crazy to buy russian submarines!...they are over rated death traps from the cold war!...what great things has russian submarines ever done but kill own crew and sink!...this could have been a reactor fire and radioactive hell mess!...i smell cover-up!
This is a very good weapon which is capable of challenging every US submarine. Accidents like this have happened to almost every submarine owning nation. This was just a human mistake. There's always a risk when traveling with a submarine, Russian or American.
@Watchyourselvez you're not serious! there is no way you're serious! Either that or you dont know anything about russian submarines and american submarines.
@ahole420 USS Thresher is one example although it is a long time ago. A British sub suffered a failure which ended in a few sailors getting killed a few years back. There are many examples of western subs suffering from accidents like this. Yes, I am serious and I know alot about submarines
@Watchyourselvez so you're telling me the akula ii is just as capable as a seawolf class submarine? and where is it you obtain you "knowledge" of submarines?
@ahole420 The Akula is becoming old and of course the Seawolf is more advanced. But the Los Angeles class which is the most common US sub is not more advanced or more capable than the Akula.
@Watchyourselvez Russians are known to cut on security in their subs, they have a long history of incidents and failures that cost the lives of hundreds of sailors, if not thousands
@Watchyourselvez Your country doesnt even have 1 aircraft carrier. What the fuck is a submarine that doesnt even have an operating system going to do. I love Russia by the way. But I am just saying. Shittt
@Lifeisincredible911 Admiral Kuznetsov is an aircraft carrier? The Russian Oscar class was made with the sole purpose of sinking American aircraft carriers. I believe an undersea navy is a force to be reckoned with. Fuck me sideways if you believe otherwise.
By the way, the Akulas have 50% less crewmembers than any American submarine because it's all automated. What do you think about that? Experts say the Akula is comparable with the Seawolf and Virgina when it comes to noise emittied.
@Lifeisincredible911 Don't underestimate the Russians. I did, until I began to talk to people, both Russians and Americans who are experts on the field.
I agree, you cant expect to go under water in a sub without knowing there is risk involved. However, the sub was obvs over crowded, the casualties could have been minimized....
Freon fire suppression accidents can happen anywhere! It killed two Telephone workers in a company computer building in Idaho some years back! Freon takes the oxygen out of the fire and saves the rooms contents. Computers one, workers zero!
The fire-prevention system was wrongly started by the younger sailor. Was freon emission. Onboard submarine 3 military men and 17 civil experts were lost.

@jim447 you are exactly correct....just as Yamamoto said after Pearl Harbor, I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant....and well, we all know how that came out.....
rongenman 1 year ago
@jim447 The Russians vastly out-paced American production, especially where comparing the T-34 to the Sherman (don't forget, that the vast majority of the German military machine was destroyed on the "eastern" front). What's more, the T-34 was a vastly superior tank in most regards; the Germans, fighting both, certainly thought so.
l2ealllllyyy 1 year ago
@l2ealllllyyy Remember the USA had to have production for 2 fronts / Japan and Europe. the USA not only had to produce for there own use but for other nations. I would challenge that the USA out produce the Russians. Example the liberty ships - built in 7 days. There is more to production than tanks
jim447 1 year ago
@jim447 It doesn't matter how many ways a nation's production was divided, "total" Russian production far outstripped that of the US by war's end. Production was still immensely labor-driven in the forties, and Russian industry had an immensely greater labor pool to draw on. It was simple mathematics; the power (Soviet Union) which destroyed more than two thirds of total, wartime Axis power had to build the tools necessary to carry that majority share of the fighting.
l2ealllllyyy 1 year ago
@l2ealllllyyy and the united states destroyed the majority of the japanese force in the pacific. Where do u think the production came from ( the usa). Production for the a bomb and radar was in the us. ( all be it radar development perfection was from the UK). The US had a very diverse industrial production. And not reverse engineering.
jim447 1 year ago
@jim447 They were extremely good at reverse engineering from tech they got/took from Germany. Airplanes, subs, rockets etc. All German technology.

There's no doubt about it, Russian subs suck.
There's been too many accidents with Ruski subs to conclude otherwise.
imallpissedoff 1 year ago
@imallpissedoff oh really Mr. Informed? US submarine accidents: USS Atlanta (SSN-712), USS Augusta (SSN-710) USS Batfish (SSN-681), USS Bergall (SSN-667), USS Bonefish (SS-582), USS Chopper (SS-342), USS Cochino (SS-345), USS Daniel Boone (SSBN-629), USS Darter (SS-227), USS Darter (SS-576), USS Dolphin (AGSS-555), USS Drum (SSN-677), Ehime Maru and USS Greeneville collision, USS F-1 (SS-20), USS F-3 (SS-22)... it's a long list... there's too many accidents to conclude what, Mr. Informed?...
DocStrange0123 1 year ago
@DocStrange0123
LOL. Do you really want to compare the U.S. submarine safety record to the Soviet safety record? Really?
I never said the U.S. had a perfect record but, the Soviet record is abismal and it hasn't gotten any better over the years.
What do you say to that, Mr. Uninformed?
imallpissedoff 1 year ago
@imallpissedoff I say: 64 different class US subs accidents documented, 12 different class subs Russian documented... the Russian accidents had been more dramatic and therefore more notable to mention, check it out, US subs have more minor accidents and Russian subs have dramatic accidents. conclusion: you can't conclude without doubt Russian subs suck based on that.
DocStrange0123 1 year ago
@DocStrange0123
U.S. subs have accidents like collisions with Soviet subs and undersea mounts but, Soviet subs have explosions and fires with most or all of the crew lost.
The U.S. hasn't lost a sub since the early 60's. The Russians have recent submarine catastrophies.
It's accepted, worldwide, that the Soviet Union, and continuing on with Russia, has had a poor submarine safety record.
imallpissedoff 1 year ago 3
@imallpissedoff I'm aware of it, that's why I say US are less dramatic accidents, what do you expect to happen with an inner explosion? if we compare the numbers of subs active and the number of catrastofic accidents we can't conclude they suck... it's very diferent to have a poor safety record from your (a bit bias in my opinion) generalization. I say you can't conclude that theyr submarines suck in general (realize is difficult to explain thing in english for me ok?)

The U.S. helped hasten an end of the war in Europe, already decided.
l2ealllllyyy 1 year ago
@l2ealllllyyy Actually. You just lied. The Gloster NEVER (EVER) at ANY time
was used during WW2. Google it. There is a reason you guys had to fly at certain times of days mate. Truth is harsh but the Americans flew the worst times because your country asked not to fly at those times. Research. Its the truth. I love UK.
Lifeisincredible911 1 year ago
@Lifeisincredible911 Which Second World War are you talking about? The "actual" Second World War was 1939-1945 and, yes, the Gloster Meteor flew in it (first flying 1943, fist combat 1944). The UK didn't ask to fly nights; they had adopted night-bombing as early as 1940, and were vastly more accurate (the US having never done it) by the time the US entered the war. Nights were more dangerous in many respects, given the navigational hazards and threat of radar-equipped German night fighters.
l2ealllllyyy 1 year ago
I still can not believe you tried telling me england was flying enlisted Jet fighters against Germany in ww2. When the thing didnt fly in the air force until after ww2.
