People who post crap like this are just plain stupid.. It's not that the H1 got stuck, it's the idiot behind the wheel driving who doesn't know how to use the four wheel drive properly. No other car or truck in the world can come close to accomplishing what you can with a H1 Hummer. Not a "H2" or "H3".. Those pieces of crap shouldn't even be considered as "Hummers".. They are a disgrace to the "Hummer" name and family.

ridicules the h1 driver didn't shifted to low, in high the hummer divides the power to the wheels who is the easiest to spin, which in turn when some wheel are in the air will give all the power to them and not the one's on the ground. so you shift to low, or you push mildly on the brake and gas and the hummer will easily get out on it's own. why is this circus was needed? hummer driver doesn't knows to drive a hummer???

WOULD YOU ALL SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THE MILITARY VERSION.

The military uses the original design that they call an HMMWV, the "Hummer" is a vehicle based off of it. The HMMWV is built for offroad and that sort of thing, the Hummer is not.

It's like the Chinook and Seaknight, they look sort of similair but their mechanics and functions are way different.

@GameReviewer1987 LOL where did you get your information from? the HMMWV and H1 Hummer are very similar. Same frame(depending in the model)... Same engines(6.2l 6.5l 6.5l turbo.). Same diffs and half shafts. Same geared hubs. Same suspension etc. However military and fleet trucks do have the 12k models. Also military trucks are completely sealed(guages, CTIS, winch, trans etc.) Civi's only have the winch sealed. There are some other small changes for safety but same beast all together.

same thing happened to my silverado once and i pulled it off with my lawn mower. it doesnt take much to get un-hung. i find it best if you off road with a looooong truck take some cinder blocks with you and place them infront of your rear tires before you bottom out. when you dirve up on the blocks it lifts the truck...its not cheating no more than those things called lift kits.
