target maybe should be not so much weight loss but organism integral health which normal weight is a part of, but also includes aspects like exercise, better term having fun moving out, and overal mental-body-spirit balance
Good for you! ! ! I am proud of anyone who embarks on the journey of life to battle back to health again. I know it is a hard one to follow, but well worth the effort just to feel better. But there are lots of other things that clear up as you journey, too. Look into wearing magnets. They made me lose weight and I wasn't even wearing them for that. I was wearing them to boost my immune system and the weight came off.

People need COenzyme Q10 found in mostly cold water fish and meats. You can get it from plants in lower levels. It is good to suppliment it if you are on this diet. Also ..seaweed is high in iodine. You need iodine. Most people are deficient. Everyone is different, and every body chemistry. Feel your own body and don't follow something if it doesn't feel right for you.

@redegel1985 yeah hemp seeds are very high in protein. I am not a fan of Hemp Milk because of the taste. But when I was drinking it in tea, i was feeling great. If you can find a way to make it not taste like *&*& then drink it.
yes, grass is best for cows and other animals, but it's not best food for human. grains also very bad for human and cows. when you buy grain fed cow's meat, you'll see so much fat in every single cells of the cow. and same thing happens to the human after consuming the grain.
nope, i didn't follow anything wrong when i was raw vegan. matter of fact my best friend who is raw vegan himself for good amount of yrs and he claims that he's so successful on this diet, he guided me. now he changes himself little bit after he sees my improvement and he's more curious to know more.
don't buy the name of organic out there (even meat products), but try some grass fed and get back to me to inform how you feel. i give you guarantee, you will see the difference right away. your energy level will be sky high and with in some months, your body will be stand out. your skin will be tight and wrinkle free.
wow! you're so smart to know all these mystery which i ignore when even my mom asked me to do that. i wish i'm curious as you now. but when the real problem appears and i just don't know what to do (after eating all those pure organic home grown fresh green, soaked seeds and raw nuts, bee pollens and other superfoods...etc), i give a try on my 80% raw fat and 20% of grass fed animal proteins intake, everything changes right away.
just be careful! i was raw vegan some part of my life. l loose my hair, teeth and muscle mass and bones. here our goal is being healthy. make some more research on this kind of diet, before it is too late. you must need protein in your body. the doctors and the drug company will love you if you eat greens.
If these are the symptoms you have created, I would say you have not done things correctly. I would get together with someone who actually knows what they are doing to educate you. I have been ona raw vegan diet for 63 years and look and feel younger than all of my contemporaries on a normal diet. Hi, well the advice and teaching are not harmonious. They differ and don't say very much except that in the end there is almost nothing left to eat...if to follow all those advice. And one have to be cautious and respect the law of nature: it isn't very logical to eat exotic fruits in colder climates and countries. Logically you eat whats in season, Melons in winter wont keep you strong for very long...

"Gr8stuffis"...this woman is complete crazy and she's one of those vegan gurus. usually when they consume too much fibers and get old, their tummies get clogged up (with fibers) and these people die with severe protein deficiency.
matter of fact, when i was just turning 50, I went to a wedding in Los Angeles, and a very striking personal trainer who owned a gym came up to me and told me that I was the only other person in that room that was buff.
rvrh, to suggest that eating greens will lead to loss of muscle mass or bones or teeth or hair, is interesting. If this were true how do you explain the muscle mass, and strength of animals like cows and bulls, apes, horses ( especially the clydesdales ) etc.?
Hi, rvrh; that was my experience too! It was horrendous. I still have to be extremely cautious not to ever eat to much fruit, I eat berries and apples in season and not even then that much. I eat mostrly raw meats and eggs...and my gums are sooo calm! And my stomach. I tried the Green for life - approach, thought it would do me good but never, ever again....and that when I was used to greens since before. Argh!
Also hope that people really do some serious investigation before going raw vegan :)

raw meat is good but if you cook or boil it becomes poison.if u want to neutralize poison wich is in meat eat it with vegetables.and don't forget that overeating is bad.I try to eat once in a day. Good luck

This is more of a lifestyle change though... I didn't necessarily think that I'd be a vegetarian for the rest of my life but now I can't see it any other way. Processed foods and meats make me feel like shit when I consume them. Plus, 90% of weight loss is diet.

You're a handsome guy! But I would be really careful on this diet. Many people in the 90's went on a vegetarian fad and got very sick from the lack of nutrients. Our bodies need meat and you can't eat that raw.
Try drinking GREEN SMOOTHIES (on youtube, look up Sergei Boutenko) everyday and you'll get your iron level back up to normal pretty quickly... also, you'll experience better overall results!

You are misinformed on both counts. If you choose to eay meat, you can eat it raw, but eating meat is not only necessary, but our protein requirements are much lower than some want us to believe.

Way to go. I'm a mom of three preteens and am looking for a raw nut cheese recipe,when I saw your video....I've toned up myself,but no weight loss. It's month three and I feel terrific! More energy and a glow.
iron is found in dark veggies like spinach, broccoli dark green veggies contain iron so idk how u were deficient on it
word of advice- when raw a lot of ppl make the mistakes of eating too much nuts and seeds which is high calorie and fat so watch out and make greens ur foundation :) and wooow 5 months? thats a loong time congrats!
a good diet is key to a successful approach to weightloss plan but dont forget to get some good exercise. eating well is a small part, although very important or i should say the most important, of losing weight and keeping it but without exercising you will never get toned definition.

If you are looking for a raw source of iron, beets have 1.09 mg of iron per serving and since your daily intake should be about 10 mg that is 1/10 per serving. Not bad huh?

Since I have been on the raw food diet, I feel better in my stomach. I am in shape but sometimes felt bloated, not anymore though. You poop less and do not feel as much strain, sorry to be graphic but I am sure that is the info you wanted, right?

to give you more info. The way to avoid contaminated eggs is to buy organic eggs or eggs from healthy chickens and if you eat raw yolks every day (in a smoothie or as salad dressing or however you like), you will become immune to the occasional contamination. In the beginning you may get a little dizzy from it, this is normal and won't be like that once you are used to it every day. Egg yolks are an amazing brain and health food.
Hi! About the iron deficiency, there is something great you can do about that without having to take pills. It's better to get it from food so here's what you can do: you can eat 5 RAW egg YOLKS (not the white) a day. I know this may not sound palatable to you but it is actually delicious and it contains lots of iron and lots of other minerals and vitamins that can help you feel your best. I have done this for many years and you can google on it to find out more as I don't have much time

nope, i didn't follow anything wrong when i was raw vegan. matter of fact my best friend who is raw vegan himself for good amount of yrs and he claims that he's so successful on this diet, he guided me. now he changes himself little bit after he sees my improvement and he's more curious to know more.

don't buy the name of organic out there (even meat products), but try some grass fed and get back to me to inform how you feel. i give you guarantee, you will see the difference right away. your energy level will be sky high and with in some months, your body will be stand out. your skin will be tight and wrinkle free.

wow! you're so smart to know all these mystery which i ignore when even my mom asked me to do that. i wish i'm curious as you now. but when the real problem appears and i just don't know what to do (after eating all those pure organic home grown fresh green, soaked seeds and raw nuts, bee pollens and other superfoods...etc), i give a try on my 80% raw fat and 20% of grass fed animal proteins intake, everything changes right away.

just be careful! i was raw vegan some part of my life. l loose my hair, teeth and muscle mass and bones. here our goal is being healthy. make some more research on this kind of diet, before it is too late. you must need protein in your body. the doctors and the drug company will love you if you eat greens.

If these are the symptoms you have created, I would say you have not done things correctly. I would get together with someone who actually knows what they are doing to educate you. I have been ona raw vegan diet for 63 years and look and feel younger than all of my contemporaries on a normal diet. I have worked at most of the raw institutes and had my own place and have seen people get better in all areas when they adopted the lifestyle. TBC

Hi, well the advice and teaching are not harmonious. They differ and don't say very much except that in the end there is almost nothing left to eat...if to follow all those advice. And one have to be cautious and respect the law of nature: it isn't very logical to eat exotic fruits in colder climates and countries. Logically you eat whats in season, Melons in winter wont keep you strong for very long...

TheSeaboat , you will be more surprise how people claim that they do very well on raw vegan diet. usually they claim themselves as guru or teachers. these people are stubborn and usually older age.
"Gr8stuffis"...this woman is complete crazy and she's one of those vegan gurus. usually when they consume too much fibers and get old, their tummies get clogged up (with fibers) and these people die with severe protein deficiency.

rvrh, to suggest that eating greens will lead to loss of muscle mass or bones or teeth or hair, is interesting. If this were true how do you explain the muscle mass, and strength of animals like cows and bulls, apes, horses ( especially the clydesdales ) etc.?

Hi, rvrh; that was my experience too! It was horrendous. I still have to be extremely cautious not to ever eat to much fruit, I eat berries and apples in season and not even then that much. I eat mostrly raw meats and eggs...and my gums are sooo calm! And my stomach. I tried the Green for life - approach, thought it would do me good but never, ever again....and that when I was used to greens since before. Argh!
Also hope that people really do some serious investigation before going raw vegan :)

raw meat is good but if you cook or boil it becomes poison.if u want to neutralize poison wich is in meat eat it with vegetables.and don't forget that overeating is bad.I try to eat once in a day. Good luck

This is more of a lifestyle change though... I didn't necessarily think that I'd be a vegetarian for the rest of my life but now I can't see it any other way. Processed foods and meats make me feel like shit when I consume them. Plus, 90% of weight loss is diet.

You're a handsome guy! But I would be really careful on this diet. Many people in the 90's went on a vegetarian fad and got very sick from the lack of nutrients. Our bodies need meat and you can't eat that raw.

You are misinformed on both counts. If you choose to eay meat, you can eat it raw, but eating meat is not only necessary, but our protein requirements are much lower than some want us to believe.

iron is found in dark veggies like spinach, broccoli dark green veggies contain iron so idk how u were deficient on it
word of advice- when raw a lot of ppl make the mistakes of eating too much nuts and seeds which is high calorie and fat so watch out and make greens ur foundation :) and wooow 5 months? thats a loong time congrats!

a good diet is key to a successful approach to weightloss plan but dont forget to get some good exercise. eating well is a small part, although very important or i should say the most important, of losing weight and keeping it but without exercising you will never get toned definition.

If you are looking for a raw source of iron, beets have 1.09 mg of iron per serving and since your daily intake should be about 10 mg that is 1/10 per serving. Not bad huh?

Since I have been on the raw food diet, I feel better in my stomach. I am in shape but sometimes felt bloated, not anymore though. You poop less and do not feel as much strain, sorry to be graphic but I am sure that is the info you wanted, right?

to give you more info. The way to avoid contaminated eggs is to buy organic eggs or eggs from healthy chickens and if you eat raw yolks every day (in a smoothie or as salad dressing or however you like), you will become immune to the occasional contamination. In the beginning you may get a little dizzy from it, this is normal and won't be like that once you are used to it every day. Egg yolks are an amazing brain and health food.

Hi! About the iron deficiency, there is something great you can do about that without having to take pills. It's better to get it from food so here's what you can do: you can eat 5 RAW egg YOLKS (not the white) a day. I know this may not sound palatable to you but it is actually delicious and it contains lots of iron and lots of other minerals and vitamins that can help you feel your best. I have done this for many years and you can google on it to find out more as I don't have much time
