  • Moore Rulez!!

  • LaBrie and Kevin are for me the two coolest guys in rock and roll.

  • Less is Moore

  • Kevin Moore looks like Howard Stern during the same time period,

  • Moore is definitely the "Moore" melodic and interesting composer

  • These videos have worse quality than films from the early 1900 hundreds...

  • THIS MAKES ME SIT ON MY FAVE COUCH, HAVE A CIGARETTE, PUT ON MY HEADPHONES, GOES IN THE IMAGES & WORDS CD..AND PRESS PLAY..AND HAVE ROCKIN' GOOD TIME..AND AFTER, PRACTICE LIKE HELL..DT FTW!

  • Kevin Moore was not just a technical keyboard player... he wrote lyrics and has good tastes in a matter of melodies... we will miss always u Kevin!

  • That part where Kevin plays the piano shows he's not really too far away from Rudess technically. Sure, Rudess is faster and more flashy (definitely), but Moore uses far more intricate chords and progressions, at least to my taste. What an amazing keyboard player. Shame he left.

  • One of my favorite things about Kevin's playing was his chord structure.

  • @fastfingers12 I'm definitely gonna agree with you there. I've been learning Wait for Sleep, and the chord structure sounds downright beautiful, not to mention I liked how in WDADU he kept the string synth chords going over the back of heavy parts.

  • @fastfingers12 Totally agree with you. Maybe Rudess plays a little faster but i miss Moore chord structure and his sounds ( sometimes i tell to myself "what a heck is that" when i hear some of the Rudess's synths sounds ).

  • @carl13220 yeah though Rudess is considered better than Moore, I find he has this bad way of spoiling the mood of the song if you know what I mean. But that again is my view. I used to like the old DT.There's NO album which can be compared to Images And Words.

  • @MegaSouvik123 I agree. I've made similar comments on other videos. For example, the part at 0:59 he just plays simple background chords where Rudess would have made it sound like some grand symphony and movie soundtrack.

He's an incredible player but Moore was guts and feel.

  • There are loads of great musicians in the world, but very few can create and compose works of true timeless art. Kevin Moore and Jordan Rudess are two rare gems of greatness that Dream Theater has been blessed to enjoy.

  • There's is and there will always be ONE Dream Theater : the one with Kevin Moore and the Ibanez guitars ...

  • Agreed

  • @Derfatot altına imzamı atarım

  • I dont recognize the Moore is playing at like 5:20, is it DT or just awesome improv??

  • the best:)

  • hes so good

  • good old vhs piano :O

  • What's he got n his hands at 6:50 ?

  • Is that a really old wwf sticker on the back of his keyboard?

  • Gah, I love Kevin's hair.

  • my favorite dream theater's keyboardist! :)

  • Mr. Moore is my favourite of all DT members... And I love Chroma Key a lot. But watching this it feels like you can already tell he wasn't 'happy.'

I hope he is happy doing what he is doing now!

  • Actually he was very happy with this record Awake was where he left I think every person associated with Dream Theater had something special they were and still are amazing.... A fantastic band with amazing musicianship. Kevin Moore is amazing no doubt I love his solo stuff but I think Dream Theater are very well coordinated with Jordan Rudess at the same time! Both very different musicians yet extremely amazing and highly creative. Good old days indeed.

  • the immortal kevin moore. this guy is a legend for dream theater fans.

  • i wish he was still in the band...

  • Me too ;(

  • But because he left his youth and legacy will remain forever.

  • oooh !!
