This Absinthe part is so fucking theatrical! haha I've tried French Absinthe smuggled over by mail, had about 16 ounces. It Just felt like a euphoric pot like high. I Couldn't stop laughing.

The Absinthe being being sold in the USA, (Lucid and Absente) are legal, but lack most if not all traces of the key ingrediant, Wormwood. (thus, not "real" absinthe).

As someone previously said, real, true Absinthe is legal to own for personal use.

Yes, I believe that the banned status of absinthe in the US ended in 2007. I remember seeing a newpaper article recently about a distillery in California that is producing absinthe, but I did not read it, so I am not sure if it will be sold in liquor stores.
