@iLiveForDisney i have only stayed in the hotel cheyenne and it is excellent we stayed 1 minute from the resturant and the bus station that goes to the parks
you are close to everything like shops it is a cheap alternative with a old country theme
only about 20 minutes walk to the park(s) and you walk past the other hotels and lake disney

@CDJSnede This is what happens when you have kids! The lines were so long I couldn't even sneak a ride in while they ate lunch. I guess the joy on the kids faces after meeting Mickey outweighs any gut-wrenching extreme ride (well that's what I'm telling myself anyway!)
@paulecohen Disneyland is mostly for kids(of all ages), so I really think its great of you to focus so much on their joy, and make the trip all about them!
What you probably didn't know was that Disney has something that is called baby switch. Which is that you queue up for Space Mountain fx. when you get to the ride you tell the cast members that you wanna baby switch, then one of you take a ride, and when done, you shift. You both get to stand ride it, without standing in line twice.

@Hunniebunniedoll Don't worry, all staff speak English (even Australian!) and their are more English tourists than Europeans. All announcements and signs are in both French and English. Have a great trip. Paul

I loved Disneyland Paris, BUT i didnt expected that there would be that much people... We went only to 4 rides and i only got a hug from Winnie the pooh thats it. It was sad to see little girls crying, cause they didnt get a hug from minnie :(
@hannah94119 The fireworks are LATE - mainly due to the fact that it doesn't get dark till late during summer in Europe! From memory they didn't finish until around 11pm when we were there. Definitely need to take the kids back to the hotel for a mid-afternoon nap and then be prepared to carry them back to the hotel afterwards (buses are too full and it's quicker to walk).
Great Video Paul, Well done and you got snippets of everything. We were there last month with our 3.5yr old daughter she just loved it. We are saving hard to go again next year. this time for a week!!

disneyland paris is absolutely wonderful,i advice going round christmas is absolutely magical.advisable ages 3-any ages cos of the rides.i went in november last year and am going in december this year.

We're going in August for 7 days this year so I really can't wait to see everything! My little brother has never been before and this video is really getting him excited! But to be honest I think Im more excited than him and im 16!!

I only say that because of experience, Ive been there more than 10 times here in the USA with my nephews and little cousins. All of the children under 24 months ive seen at disney are asleep 90% of the time or are crying like crazy when they see the characters.....thats why I said it was pointless taking a 1 year old.
I am planning on taking my daughter here for her 1st Birthday in Sept. Would you say that there will be enough activities for her? Thanks for posting this - gives a nice insight into the whole attraction.
@Chillash007 Hi, we took our one year old (as well as her two siblings) and she loved it. She still watches the video most days and loves seeing Micky! Make sure you take a stroller so your child can sleep or better still stay at the Disney Hotels so that you can take her back for a midday sleep. There are plenty of gentle rides for them, but the biggest highlight seems to be the characters, which are abundant throughout the park. Hope that you have a great trip.
@Chillash007 its pointless taking a 1 year old to disney...they wont remember anything or have as much fun as a toddler or young kid that knows about disney characters. Wait untill your daughter is at least 3 or4,from now untill then show her all the disney princess movies and show her disney books with all the characters. When she goes for the 1st time at lets say 4? shell have a blast because she will know all the characters.

@BigGreenMile You definitely need 3 days - one day is not enough to see everything. That way you can explore at night when it is quieter, see the fireworks and line up for the really good attractions. Hope that you have a great time.

I've been to disneyland paris twice and disneyworld florida 9 times.....however, this June will be my first trip with my little boy for his 2nd birthday ! Cant wait to see it all through his eyes ! Your kids are really cute , i bet it's wonderful to see things through their perspective... for me it'll be a whole new disney experience but probably my best yet (as a family)

I loved Disneyland Paris, BUT i didnt expected that there would be that much people... We went only to 4 rides and i only got a hug from Winnie the pooh thats it. It was sad to see little girls crying, cause they didnt get a hug from minnie :(

@hannah94119 The fireworks are LATE - mainly due to the fact that it doesn't get dark till late during summer in Europe! From memory they didn't finish until around 11pm when we were there. Definitely need to take the kids back to the hotel for a mid-afternoon nap and then be prepared to carry them back to the hotel afterwards (buses are too full and it's quicker to walk).

Great Video Paul, Well done and you got snippets of everything. We were there last month with our 3.5yr old daughter she just loved it. We are saving hard to go again next year. this time for a week!!

disneyland paris is absolutely wonderful,i advice going round christmas is absolutely magical.advisable ages 3-any ages cos of the rides.i went in november last year and am going in december this year.

I don't see how you could feel that this video is anything but overwhelmingly positive. I suggest that you stop making immature smug comments, take a look in the mirror... and then if you're not happy with the quality of videos you're watching - create you're own! @radicolguy Yeah, I think that is a fair amount of time. we were there for two nights and the extra day would have meant the we would have seen it all. Hopefully the lines wont be as long when you're at the park. Have a great time. Paul

just booked to go next february as it will be around the time my son will be 2 years old. me and my partner have never been to disneyland either so it will be a 1st for all of us. looks loads of fun. thanks for a wonderful video to show us what fun we will have next year

Me and my family went there in july 2009.. It was such a fantastic experience, and I really want to go there this year to.. I'm almost 18, but it didn't really matter at all, it was magical!

i went to disneyland Paris in july 2009 too :) i went 27th july to the 31st x it was fantastic im glad your kids had fun. the first time i went there when i was about 7 with my school. but even though im 13 now i always wanna go back to disneyland!

This video is amazing! Thanks for putting it up :) I went to disneyland Paris a few years ago on a school trip but only got to stay half a day. We're going in August for 7 days this year so I really can't wait to see everything! My little brother has never been before and this video is really getting him excited! But to be honest I think Im more excited than him and im 16!!

I only say that because of experience, Ive been there more than 10 times here in the USA with my nephews and little cousins. All of the children under 24 months ive seen at disney are asleep 90% of the time or are crying like crazy when they see the characters.....thats why I said it was pointless taking a 1 year old.

@Chillash007 Hi, we took our one year old (as well as her two siblings) and she loved it. She still watches the video most days and loves seeing Micky! Make sure you take a stroller so your child can sleep or better still stay at the Disney Hotels so that you can take her back for a midday sleep. There are plenty of gentle rides for them, but the biggest highlight seems to be the characters, which are abundant throughout the park. Hope that you have a great trip.

@Chillash007 its pointless taking a 1 year old to disney...they wont remember anything or have as much fun as a toddler or young kid that knows about disney characters. Wait untill your daughter is at least 3 or4,from now untill then show her all the disney princess movies and show her disney books with all the characters. When she goes for the 1st time at lets say 4? shell have a blast because she will know all the characters.

@BigGreenMile You definitely need 3 days - one day is not enough to see everything. That way you can explore at night when it is quieter, see the fireworks and line up for the really good attractions. Hope that you have a great time.

@chewchewchewing Yeah the characters wander the park, but are not part of the main parade. There is also a Mad Hatters themed hedge maze.

I've been to disneyland paris twice and disneyworld florida 9 times.....however, this June will be my first trip with my little boy for his 2nd birthday ! Cant wait to see it all through his eyes ! Your kids are really cute , i bet it's wonderful to see things through their perspective... for me it'll be a whole new disney experience but probably my best yet (as a family)
