Top end is fine. ( mixture screw) Your trying to set the bottom end mixture with the top end mixture screw. Set the bottom end screw. I hear it on intial start up, Sounds to "fat"- rich. In with the low speed needle setting like a 1/16 - 1/8 turn in. Small screw end of throttle barrell. Very small turns on this screw either way. Inside the the throttle lever. Already factory set.
My advice with the smaller os's arfter running in, find your optimal needle mixture and leave the needle along!!! mine ran for nearly 2 years without having to touch it, winter and summer, I just changed the plug depending on the temp ;-) great little engine i must add
@slyguy11572 Are you kidding, in control line, you get laughed at if you have a starter. I start all my engines with a glove, especially in racing and combat. I could flip faster than any starter could get any of my engines running! Those engines will start at WOT and the needle set at 1 1/4 turns. few primes, then she'll start on the first flip.
He needs to opewn the trottle a little more and she'll start. Also gotta prime it if he didn't, cause the fuel would already be in the carb ready to start.
im having issues with mine trying to start it. i flip it the way it goes and it jumps back and sometimes starts running backwards a little bit then dies. i can't get it going
I have this engine but its in silver, i have no other use for it and am thinking of having it power a small custom outboard for my little 2 person inflatable boat, would you think it could cope with that? also depending on the gear ratio, i think it would be 3:1 ratio.
The battery fits in my pocket and my starter motor fits nicely with my charger + other random tools wires etc. So I can carry my plane, toolbox, fuel and battery to the field in one trip.
ta loco esse cara e muito burro... rsssspega 01 litro de combustivel pra depois tenta funciona ..kkkk

I much prefer a chicken stick...because I'm too chicken to do it with my finger. Still, much better hauling a battery and motor to the flying field.

Hauling a battery to the field isn't bad if you have one that mounts on the bottom of your starter (though those have less capacity).
