I got a 2012 sequoia platinum for my 2008 suburban ltz. i would say that the sequoia runs so much better than the suburban, but the suburban still is good. The sequoia puts more horsepower out, and i would definitely choose the sequoia other than my old car depending on the features. the sequoia offers so much more which i think that the suburban should also have like the power 3rd row seating which is my favorite. i also like the power rear window on the sequoia other than the flip up glass one

Just picked up my 2012 Sequoia Platinum (Black/Redrock) on Monday, and it is fantastic!! I traded in my 2007 GMC Yukon. From an exterior perspective, the yukon was a better looking SUV, but the interior and ride quality of the Sequoia is 200 x's better looking/quality and the features are unmatched.

i've seen a lot of sequoia here in the philippines and i'm wonder is it adaptable here in tropical climate. every summer the temp here can reach as high as 39c. can the aircon adapt well???

You're correct in saying that it's a truck. However, the EPA considers it to be an SUV. The underpinnings are truck based and if you took off the top half of the roof by the third row you'll have a Tundra. Glad to see they're recycling. I think that some automakers do a better job of incorporating plastics. To me this interior displays the plastics more so than others. The other thing is that I'm not so sure how the interior will hold up over time. Just my opinion.

@toyota4life94 Lol, yes built in USA suprisingly. The only thing Japanese is the name! I'm actually impressed with Toyota's trucks, and heavy machinery, I do still think they need to work more on their cars as you probably have seen with Intechdude300's videos.

Lots of luxury features but both the exterior and interior have too much plastic. Even if there are some nicely grained areas, it just needs better looking stuff. Especially since this is a $60K SUV! The interior from the Avalon would look much better. The problem is that the Avalon's interior is not something that many would want in a truck. But at least put more soft surfaces in. Also, keyless access and starting should be available on lesser trim levels and standard here. Good review though!

This Car is exactly the same as the 2011 tundra platinum, all they did was change the rear part of the car. Great video Though
