  • Did you know that alot of birds including a blue fronted amazon bob their head as a sign of possesion, in other words, your parrot totally thinks he owns you, lol and you thought you were his owner.. I like this video because my blue fronted parrot "Kiwi" does the same with me, expecially when I bring her for walks, she is on a bird harness of course, I could never bring myself to clipping her wings.. beautiful parrot though he seems to be happy with you as his friend!!

  • rofl ownage,

  • You have a very cute parrot! :) I just got a 3-month old parrot today, and he seems very scared of me. He is surprisingly very quiet..and really likes his cage. When I take him out to pet him, he sometimes "flies" to the cage and climb back up. Do you know if I should just leave him alone? Or is this a sign that he just doesn't like me? Any tips? Thanks! :)

  • @xsecretdreams

you just keep being nice to him. if he did not like you for whatever reason you would soon know about it. keep telling him how good he is . give him a treat every time hes good , but do tell him its a treat.

  • This is why I always strongly recommend against tame woodpeckers as head sitting pets. ;)

  • LOL.. xD

  • "Are you gonna give me some attention? no? peck, peck, peck. muhahaha"

  • I like your name, Chirpy

  • lol my lorikeet's not allowed on my head. Have you trained yours not to go potty up there, or...?

  • Ahahah the parrot is distrancting you to allow the black cat eat in the kitchen

  • To all those people saying clip its wings. How about i cut your legs off you fools.

  • theres a cat in the kitchen!!!

  • Hahaha

he just keeps going and going

    so cute!

  • my parrot flew away T_T he was with us like 4 years and then...T_T

  • That's so sweet... but didn't he crap on your head all the time?

  • My Uncape loves to be on my head -- then she swings down on my hair like Tarzan and throws my glasses off my face! It is hilarious!

  • amazing animal!, and the parlot is cute

  • good good...

  • that was cute lol, my macaw does that but on my ear :p

you should clip the wings though, you could leave a window or door open and woooosh it would fly out :( and it doesn't hurt them either :D

  • barrymorri just to let you know, your parrot is the boss of you...When you allow a parrot to go higher then you..its the boss..you let it win..

  • dont let him get on your head. if his eyes are above yours he thinks he in control.

  • Another good reason to clip wings.

  • i think not

  • I agree, if your bird gets mad one day at you..good luck catching it..ALSO if they fly into a window or a fan etc...its better for their wings to be clipped..seriously!

I work at a pet store and I know a lot about animals.

  • chirpy gets mad with me often, lol ,maybe i spend to much time with him.

but im not into disabling him .

for two summers now he has sat on top of his cage in the garden at the end of the a nice day. when hes ready he flys to me and then i take him in. he knows whos boss and where hes wanted, thanks for the advise though.

  • You do realize that the best exercise a bird can get is flying right

  • 4 stars, cant beat a two in one funny vid like this!

  • lol i have the same bird! she does that when we put the beatles music on lol

  • great video and I've rated it as five stars. Please check out mine on some 1930's trading cards of aviary and cage birds.

  • Great video of a beautiful bird, but the "back story" of the cat eating dinner on the stove is hilarious! I love this video.

  • unfortunatle he wont go on my shoulder but cant keep off my head

  • I can't keep him off my shoulder :S

  • My blue-fronted prefers my shoulder over my head :/

  • the cat in the back is having dinner on the stove!!

  • That is so cute. Does that hurt?
