I'm SOO sad I saw the CNN documentery about Parkettes and i was so inspired by Nicole. After doing further reaserch I found out she had quit in March but I'm sure she had a bunch of good reasons to quit but I just wanted to say good luck Nicole.
Nicole here... I cannot thank all of you enough! I have appreciated the support from day one and now that those gymnastic days are over I am so happy with every thing I did and every one I touched. This is not the end for me, I promise. I am in pursuit of being an action movie star, my ultimate goal in life... So thanks for the luck! To all of you gymnasts out there: your gymnastics talent is a very special gift, cherish it and hold it close to your heart, as I hold all of you!
omg!!!gosh. your my hero! that statement you just said made me cry.and i cant believe its you. please message me back!!im a gymnast to and before every practice i watch videos of you in gym and it gives me a huge confindece booster. YOUR THE BEST!!~brittany.~
i love this. i think its good she decided to retire, from what ive heard shes been in terrible pain. lovely montage. nicole will be remembered forever. :)
im not sure but in an interview in college she said ""I knew what was best for me, and that was to stop torturing my body," Harris said in a phone message Thursday. "It was just painful to sleep at night, and that's when I knew. Unfortunately, the timing sucks, and yes, I'm letting a lot of people down, but I have to listen to what my intuition is telling me."
she was an amazing gymnast but it sounds like it was her time to finish up
i dont know the circumstances of her decision to leave but its clear that throughout her entire career that she loved gymnastics and im sure she felt this decission a necessary one
good luck nicole! you had a really good gymnastics career and many fnas best of luck
