you know I hated windows Vista...but to be honest...give it a few months and it becomes so easy to use. My cousin who's a mac users tells me to go to mac (since I use photoshop,flash blar blar blar)...but I like vista and enjoy using it...I also love the idea of downloading any program I want and working...without it not working and stuff.

if you are running high end direct x 10 or 11 video cards then you should be using windows 7

if you have a direct x 9 or lower video card it will not be worth the upgrade because you wouldn't see any difference.

Crysis I did a follow up video on with windows 7, I suggest you look at that video. The video was to show the most played games working on windows 7 beta back in the testing days of 2008, and just for your information its two gtx 260's in SLI not one.

because you can't run MW2 with out Steam.

right click on the mutiplayer steam icon in the games section and the click properties and see if you can fix it from there.

if all else fails use a back up if you have one of the game or just reinstall or re download the game.

if you have a direct X 11 video card though and you want to experience direct x 11 graphics then you have to use windows 7 for that.

I think the significant change that made most of the Vista haters to turn was the automatic driver installation and better compatibility. Gaiming wize I doubt any fps boosts between the OS.

I would also say the stability issues came in as a key factor as well. Lets face it vista wasn't exactly... "stable"... as an OS, the number of times i have seen vista crash for no reason baffled me. Actually you can play all games on Win7 just go to properties of that game that than choose compatibility and then choose windows xp 3 service pack or any other service pack than can make you play that game i had the same issues with my Nfs underground and i just tried something and played around with the properties and thats how i founded out but ye i hope this will work for any1 ;D win7 is actually realy good just gotta know how it works ;D

you can play all games provide support for all windows platforms.

if you tried to install original version of the game that didn't get remade to work on the news version of windows then you would find they wouldn't work. eg installing the Original Half life 1 disc on windows 7 would not work, you have to use Steam.
