Onimusha 2 will always be in my memoirs and thoughts... It was the most epic game of all time! Maybe the best game ever made... Sadly it never earned enormous public attention, which it most likely should have deserved!!! BTW I sincerely hope that they will reincarnate the franchise! I mean the plot, characters, scenery and music... No word can describe... It is divine and immortal!!! Onimushaaaaaaa!!!!! "Jubei, Jubei..." X)

Interesting story: a few years back, shortly after this game came out, I turned the radio on to the classical station (for laughs and out of curiosity) and heard, amongst the symphonies of Dvorak and Handel, this piece. I was pleasantly surprised; I didn't think a classical station would play an orchestral piece from a video game :)

@dontdependonearth thats fair enough your entitled to you opinion of preference and i loved dawn of dream aswell but i personally prefer the 1st 3 games i thought that they had everything in the package the onimusha franchise wasnt a dissapointment in my opinion anyway i thought that all 4 games were masterpieces but what i loved about dawn of dreams especailly is that it was the longest of all the onimusha titles and that the enhancing items and weapons were harder to get at max level :)

i personally think onimusha 2 is the best onimusha game ever released its got a great story,great gameplay,very good graphics although graphics doesnt mean anything when it comes to games and the characters are just wow!! i mean look they have jubei hes awesome,gogandantess is so awesome although he looks a little odd but i must say onimusha 2 has everything that a gamer could ever want in a game,there isnt one character in this game that i dont like so this game gets 10/10 from me. :)

@luzongb,I must actually say i thought the voice acting was very good i thought that it suited the characters and that the dialogue was occasional corny at times in the way of their tone of voice but if you dont like the voice acting thats okay i dont expect everyone to like it but i thought that it was very good anyway :)

@sammyorochi 2 was the best mainly because the directional controls was hard....But that meant more skill was involved so thats y I still loved 2. although u r right about the camera, but then that meant they had to spend less time making the area look good, becuz no camera meant better rendering of the environment, again this is y 2 was so good. 4th had the worst graphics to me, but it was also the only one with a versus mode which was awesome and i nvr playd 1 and 3 was just too much future.

I always considered Onimusha 2 to be the best of the series. I never did actually play Dawn of Dreams though, I played a demo and really disliked the way they changed the game, plus I was totally baffled by the huge jump in time. I wanted to see either Samanosuke or Jubei's story continued and instead I got some idiot named Soki and a fake ass Jubei. It just annoyed me too much to play it.

i love this instrumental.... i can't ever forget this since onimusha 2 is the most memorable game i've ever played since it was the first game i played when i was grade 4 and now i'm 4th year high school i still can't forget it.... the instrumental's sad but melodic....

Among all [non spin-off] Onimusha games (Warlods - Dawn of Dreams) this one has the best story. Even to this day Ekei's scene about his daughter makes me cry

Sadly the man who wrote the original stories for Onimusha 1-3 passed away. So the odds of an Onimusha 5 is very slim, considering how they already tied things well with Dawn of Dreams.

I agree, Onimusha 2 had the VERY best music of all the series. The characters were likeable, and the gameplay a large step forward from Onimusha 1. Onimusha 1 set the stage for Samanosuke being an epic legendary samurai, and it all came together in 3. oh and JEAN REANO HELL YEAH!

Onimusha 2 has the greatest music in the whole Onimusha-series... and thanks of it you can really sympahtize with the characters as well (altough they were a bunch of stereotypical jokes). Onimusha 3 had the most epic feeling as well the best actors (I mean Jean Reno - hell yeah) and Onimusha 1 had this spooky atmosphere that made you love it =)
