to run, all you have to to is drag your player with only the A button. That's it. It's really easy. Let me know if you'd like some tricks and tips as well.

yeah the graphics are not great, but unlss yu are under 18 and need things to look shiney thats really not important... the gameplay is FAR better than that of on the ps3/xbox360 and ps versions of pes/fifa etc...

its just a better game, you can do more and control your entire team instead of 1 player at a time...

let the casual gamers worry about graphics, this is a hardcore game, so gameplay matters most

no you definately could not play this game on a dual analog controller lol, it would be 100% impssible :P

because on ps3/xbox360 all you do is the same as any other football game, play as 1 player at a time.. you cant control the entire teams tactics & positioning in real time etc...

this version just has much better/deeper gameplay than those versions due to the fact you can point wherever you want and pass/move players into those spaces and control players off the ball aswell as on etc...

yes i have.... fifa on wii is CRAP, really really BAD!!! ti doesnt use this advanced gameplay setup, its the same as any other football game on ps3/xbox360 but with wii motion controls, PES2008 on Wii is BRAND NEW gameplay and its 100% impossible without the wiimote controller... PES2008 on wii is the best game ive played on ps3, xbox360 or wii, i think its the best next gen game made so far (except for maybe orange box, mario galaxy or COD4?)

fifa08 on ps3/xbox360 is okish... its beter than pes2008 on ps3/360 but PES2008-wii is MUCH better than fifa08 or any other pes/fifa game :D

Oh, I quite like the fifa 08 on xbox 360/ps3. It just isn't as well thought out. You can't change the weather and there's no linesmen on the sidelines and the controls are harder and there's no training mode and in edit mode you've got to earn points to buy things where as on pro evo you just go straight in and get whatever, but have you seen the movement compared with other fifa games? I thought pro evo for 360 is really good. Although on the wii version there aren't any linesmen either.

well fifa08 on ps3/360 is ok, but the gameplay is almost identical to any other normal football game, its pretty basic compared to PES2008 on wii anyway... fifa08 on wii is worse than all of them tho i think...

the movement? not sure what u mean? but the controls/movement in pes2008-wii are easily the best

pro evo on 360 is okish aswell, but crap compared to the wii version, as again its just the normal/basic old school football gameplasetup, you cant control players off the ball etc etc

talking about the movement, the movement is how realistically the players move compared to real life. In previous fifa games the ball stuck to the players feet unrealistically, where as in the new fifa it's just watching it on TV. The players move just like real players. Does that help you to understand what the movement is?

ahh sure ok yeah you mean the animation quality etc, and i would say sure youll get loads of superficial visual "improvements" on the ps3/xbox360 games as they are more powerfull consoles, but pes on wii has much better controls/interaction and gameplay than any of the football games on ps3/xbox360 so far...

i thought you meant "how you move the players" which is what i was saying is done better on pes2008 on wii ;)

no, movement refers to not the way you move the players, but to the way the players themselves move compared to real life. It's got ALOT better on fifa games. Btw I agree with what u said about the graphics. I was playing fifa 08 on ps3 earlier tonight and the graphics make it look like a real match on TV. Oh, I almost forgot. On the PES 2008 for wii, is there a way of doing tricks like the stepover or the marseille roulette etc?

well im still learning,theres a lot i still dont know about the game, as with all pro evo games theres a lot of hidden tactics/moves that take time to find/learn etc, but prob more so with this version. so yes you can do a "trick" move but it seems to opt for the most suitable trick for the situation instead of allowing a selection of different tricks

you cant be doing it right then.... pass the ball to a player and before get recieves the ball press pass and he should do a step over... sorry i thought it was as you received, but its before you recieve, but it DEFINATELY works cus i do it all the time ;)

i dont think you can do that no, but you could try being in offense with teh ball, dribbling (pull main player with A) and then hold Z and shake the nunchuck as you run... a green arrow should appear over your head and your player should either do a dummy or a "trick" but i dont think a 360 roulette is part of that... but its worth a try etc...

ohh and the online for PES008 wii is fine, its 1 vs 1, friends or strangers... gets laggy playing other countries like most football games but is probably the least laggy footy game about online, but the online mode is pretty simple still

you can change your connection on it. You can choose the kind of connection you want.

this advanced level of gameplay is impossible without the wii controller, theres no way you could play this game on anything but the wii controller setup... thats the whole idea :)

This game is brilliant. It may be difficult to grasp at first (especially defending), but once you get the hang of it, well, it's simply amazing.

you wouldnt be able to play it this way without the lines, you cant improve gameplay this much without some visual indicators to help track the action... its a much much better game than fifa or pes on ps3/xbox360 tho

well, fifa on wii doesn't have lines. I think it's as realistic and I still think it's better than fifa, but the graphics 4 fifa on xbox and ps3 are something else.

Okay. So it's an interesting way to play.But have any of you considered how it would fair in a multiplayer match ? 2v2 ? 3v3 ? Just imagine how messy the screen will look with so many colours and circles flooding the screen. I enjoy playing PES with friends around on multitab (PS2). It's fun.
