What's the justification for this title? I did not hear him "attack" the bible. I heard him say it would not make a good basis for national policy, and that is clearly true. My aunt is a christian but she doesn't buy all the bs about creationism, she understands the bible contains myths and stories to set examples but she doesn't actually believe all of it was true.
Almost nothing is just black or white... I dislike people who take it too far, but otherwise I think the message of christianity is, overall, a good one, putting aside the fact they ask for your moneyz and are extremely retrograde

What's the justification for this title? I did not hear him "attack" the bible. I heard him say it would not make a good basis for national policy, and that is clearly true. Even if you don't respect for the Constitution, the verses which he cited (and others) make that clear. I can see how some might be offended by his tone, but he has a good point: anyone who thinks that a modern nation can be based on the antiquated and self-contradictory standards of the bible has not read it carefully.

2. Christian historians' conclusions are based on a self-serving belief in their faith so whatever they all agree on is moot. There is no relative objectivity as it is unlikely that a historian who's a Christian would just suddenly conclude that their religion was based on lies no matter what the evidence supported/didn't support. They make the dots connect in order to affirm their faith/ beliefs because they can't face a world without a God.
