Dude, with the Dom3, you should have pulled him at first -- you have a 30R size turbo -- you should have a 800 rpm or more spool up before him ... he'll catch you of course ;-) Nice pulls ... thanks for sharing.
@Heedlessone It's not the size of the turbo it's the size of the impellar wheel. It has a 3.5" inlet which the inlet tube wouldn't fit under the intake manifold so that's where you get a rotated turbo. But they do make some 2.5" inlet 35R's that are still bad ass.

Here are my mods at that time. Gruppe-s race block, head work (8000rpm redline). Cosworth 272 cams, dw 1000cc injectors. Walbro 255 fuel pump, dom3 turbo.
Perrin big maf,perrin turbo inlet, dom 3 turbo, perrin bov, perrin fmic. That race was in 102 degree weather. And was up to about 130mph. It was a ok race. Ask me any questions and ill try to clear them up thx.
love when guys say whos who. Doesnt matter and no one can say who won... that 35r could of not been out if front. The dom3 is a monster in itself. People underestimate it a lot. I agree that the 35r is way more efficient and more room to play with but the dom3 can make some crazy power to run a 35r for its money.
Im going to say that the 35r was the car that won....BUT thats nothing to be proud about! You are talking about a rotated kit vs stock location (in other words, big turbo vs smaller turbo) and it wasnt that bad of a beat!

hmmm... 35R = 65 lbs min turbo, Dom III = 52 lbs min turbo. 35R has the ability to make 130 more hp... Pretty obvious who the winner would be.
