I had this book when I was a kid! But not the audiobook--mine was hardcover, I think. I've always remembered the line about the fog being "as thick as pea soup".

About three and a half years ago there used to be something on YouTube called "FMA Crack: Rainbow Brite Style," but it was so silly and bizarre that it now no longer exists. I used to have it on Hi8, but I taped over it with the "Murked Out" music video by Brougham. Besides, I don't think Rainbow Brite music and Fullmetal Alchemist go well together, so boys would probably press the mute button while girls would probably look away from the screen.

Here's a bit of trivia for you: A lot of people suspect the "kid" is Brian and his sister, but this has never been verified.

Well, it is what people say, but it isn't true. Brian didn't have a sister. The little boy in the story never saw "Rainbow" or the Kids, he saw the colours only.
