Actually, it's not as bad as I thought. It's basically the same storylines, but Americanized for us Yanks. For example, the episode about the football fan murder was changed to a Puerto Rican woman being murdered and the tension between Puerto Ricans and Blacks. But it's not doing very well ratings-wise. Over here, we're still too hung up on reality & competition shows.

I'm going to check out the US LOM remake, if only for Harvey Keitel as Gene. I'm sure it won't be as good as the original.
