My dad has an 09' V6 6M. Whenever I see my dad, I take it out for a brisk stroll. It's pretty fast! I've seen people push theirs from 0-60 as quick as 5.7. Officially the time is 5.9 seconds.

its actually called cylinder deactivation, not variable valve timing. VVT increases power and efficiency, CD increases mileage by operating on less cylinders.

They only gave us a v6 in the standard models with a dog box auto

For the majority of us living and commuting in the cities manual is pretty inconvenient. It's already shit being stuck in traffic on the 405 or the harbor, why do I need the hassle of constantly shifting gears in the stop and go traffic. Also the automatic gets better fuel economy which saves me money. It's plain logic to get the automatic mate. And like you said its already pretty awesome so where do you lose?

no it doesnt, the automatic has variable valve timing, which means the car will run 6, 4, and 3 cylinders when needed. so incase your too stupid to understand what valve timing is. when the ca is going slow speeds and not in need of all the cylinders, it will shot off some of them to save gas. the manual does not come with this feature. and its only on the v6 models
