yea every one was slip&sliding down the hill in all the mud rite before they started playing.. fun times, thats when the apd was not fucking with ya for smoking out in the park. next few years they started busting folks for stupid shit and nobody wanted to go.
@dscruggs99 If I remember correctly..it was just the Crowes...and they were debuting Southern harmony album..so we were hearing these songs for first time,,,before anyone else..what a show it was..rained hard before the band came on and the whole park was a mudpit
@Mikey1970G the back stage footage is badass and funny.... you know there was a girl there tonight that give birth and decided to name her baby mudpie
@litatyas Yeah, I've got it but I already had my account closed for posting copyrighted material once before. It was out of print for years but you can pick it up on DVD now.

He has a lot of Robert Plant's mannerisms; i.e., always playing with his hair, pushing it aside, the way he moves....Not a bad person to emulate,....but there was only one RP for sure.......

what a day/ what a concert/
got in elevator with eddie harsh ( spelling) a few years ago with slides of this show...he freeked...said that most of the footage shot that day on "who killed that bird' movie was shot by him.

I love the look Chris makes at about 1:21-- fully aware of how kick ass the riff is.

oh yeah, I was talking from the singing point of view. Marriott was a guitarist so he obviously couldn't play with his hair or with the mic etc.
BTW but Plant took pouting from Marriott hehehe ;) - REALLY!.....and a little bit of singing style too....
my point is EVERY musician has some influences, it's a natural thing.

Plant is surely amazing, but I highly doubt he was the pioneer of hair jostling.
