  • this is sick...I used to work there summer of 90 and 91....I am sad:(

  • Very Sad indeed.....everything in this world is changing and it is NOT for the better

  • Did they tare the whole thing down

  • I can't believe they tore it down. What a big loss historically speaking. I can't believe that some resort company couldn't have come up with a plan to turn it into a moderns spa facility or something like that for New Yorkers to escape to on the weekends. I remember horseback riding near there, the pool, the bowling, the ice skating and the seemingly endless hallway filled with couches that people lounged on after dinner. I can still see my grandmother unpacking in our room. Tears.

  • @swingsteve I totally agree!

  • I worked there at the Health Club giving Massage for the last thirteen years. We were all hoping there was a way to save the place. I will always be grateful to the people and place of the Concord Resort Hotel. I would not have missed it. Bart.

  • I remember......so very sad... torn down and buried.....just like those of us who remember

  • heartbreaking, spent my childhood summers there, I went to the daycamp...ate in the childrens dining room, while my parents relaxed by the pool....

  • Rummaging through the Concords remains, archeologists discovered two well preserved matzoh balls and a gallon of schmalts herring. They rushed it to the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. Upon further testing it was noticed that these two food products enhanced the sex lives of all the Jewish people who ate them. .Upon releasing this news to the general population, sales of these products are skyrocketing .''Pass the sour cream".

  • Why is there no photos or video of this place grossingers, pines, and a few more have a slew of stuff, this place has nothing almost of it abandoned,

  • Wow. I've never seen Testa AND Nacirema work on one project. Very good video.

  • It was a beautiful place!! palatial!! but the mentality of people changed. the younger generations dont want to drive up to sullivan county. old people were the only ones still going up there! old people with money, are still old people on fixed incomes. old people dont tip big/dont buy lots of drinks./still expect to the get the big saturday night show for free. and if younger people came, the old people not hip to the latest food and entertainment would say it was going downhill!

  • Watching this is heartbreaking!!!! Spent 10 years of my life at the Concord it was like they were tearing down a part of me, I will always treasure my memories and the great people that made the hotel such a great place!!

  • Sad. My grandparents stayed at the Concord and all I have is one picture.

  • Lets say goodbye to my childhood. :(

  • something with a very massive turbo is lurking about.....

  • we used to go there for our winter holiday. I played golf there a few years ago.

  • worked there as night doorman in the late 70s early 80s any of you carhops still alive?Love to here from ya...Rodney C. are you there:? Sad to see this place go down.. always thought Id go there again someday....

  • Great footage and so sad!!!

  • Demolished ! and with it my youth

    Sal
