This game was one of my favorite role playing games for the super nintendo. Come to think of it. I still have this game in mint condition. I should start playing it again.
@BlackMidnight12am But this game wasn't released in the US. Unless you went to Japan, how can you have a copy of this game if it wasn't released in the US?
Bahamut Lagoon is the first game that I've known truly nothing of, heard nothing of, and had no previous attraction to other than it being a classic Square RPG. But I will tell you here and now, I am very sad to know that this awesome game never saw an american release. Thank you to the translators for letting us finally play this awesome game (without having to learn Japanese first of course)
Noriko Maetsuda also composed Final Fantasy XII soundtrack, after Mr. Nobuo Uematsu left Square Enix (formerly Squaresoft). He last known works was in Final Fantasy X. The tracks in Bahamut Lagoon is Epic!
Does this game have anything to do with the Final Fantasy franchise? I'm just assuming right now that it's one of Square's other RPGs (others include Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Secret of Mana, etc.)
Yeah, it's one of the others, more in the vein of Live-a-Live or Treasure of the Rudras, because they were never officially translated, and they're pretty different compared to the more famous square games. Give them a try though, you might like them.
I imported this game when it came out and still greatly enjoy Noriko Matsueda's work on this title. There are two orchestral arrangements that were released with the strategy guide that are also very good.
I ALMOST finished that, but I encountered a bug while playing on Surlent's campaign that made it impossible for me to finish it. I hadn't saved my other two finished campaigns, so I would have to restart the whole game and clear them if I wanted to clear the whole game.
one of the best videogames of the whole 90s !!
It was flawless, perfect story, beyond perfect music, and perfect graphics !

The plot is pretty strange in this game. What with Yoyo choosing Palpaleos over Byuu? the music, graphics and gameplay made up for it though.

beats me, probably a case of Stockholm syndrome.

Considering sex with Palpaleos is implied in the game is saying something.
