  • one of the best videogames of the whole 90s !!

It was flawless, perfect story, beyond perfect music, and perfect graphics !

  • This game was one of my favorite role playing games for the super nintendo. Come to think of it. I still have this game in mint condition. I should start playing it again.

  • @BlackMidnight12am But this game wasn't released in the US. Unless you went to Japan, how can you have a copy of this game if it wasn't released in the US?

  • This game was awesome! Thanks for posting this vid+music.

  • 1996 and already squaresoft were so far ahead of other games in terms of cinematics.

  • Sprites were amazing in this.

  • seems like you're missing Lagoon (I got here by searching for that)... that game had some neat music

  • at 2:56 the music sings of byuu's balls

  • Wow.... They just don't make music like this anymore....

  • ....... no final battle theme?

That was one of my two favorite songs from the game.

  • how was the song called at 0:57? i know that it is on my harddisk but i forget the name ^^ its so epic!

  • @lunatic1988 it's Yoyo's theme

the 4th track on the OST

  • Bahamut Lagoon is the first game that I've known truly nothing of, heard nothing of, and had no previous attraction to other than it being a classic Square RPG. But I will tell you here and now, I am very sad to know that this awesome game never saw an american release. Thank you to the translators for letting us finally play this awesome game (without having to learn Japanese first of course)

  • Noriko Maetsuda also composed Final Fantasy XII soundtrack, after Mr. Nobuo Uematsu left Square Enix (formerly Squaresoft). He last known works was in Final Fantasy X. The tracks in Bahamut Lagoon is Epic!

  • its seems like wild arms

  • The graphix are SICK !!!

  • You got Sendak's sincerity cookie. Will you eat it?

Sendak: Byuu...your rear is so round...

  • Sendak creeped the ever loving fuck out of me man.

  • Does this game have anything to do with the Final Fantasy franchise? I'm just assuming right now that it's one of Square's other RPGs (others include Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Secret of Mana, etc.)

  • Yeah, it's one of the others, more in the vein of Live-a-Live or Treasure of the Rudras, because they were never officially translated, and they're pretty different compared to the more famous square games. Give them a try though, you might like them.

  • First japanese game I played out without knowing any japanese words. Awesome game.

  • Yes this is the one of the squaresoft Masterpieces.I played the jap version but 2hours and i learned the signs like fire, heal ,ice

  • the game has been translated ;)

    fan translation with emulator tho

    great game :D

  • This game had pretty impressive graphics for snes.

  • this game should be on the wii virtual console

  • The plot is pretty strange in this game. What with Yoyo choosing Palpaleos over Byuu? the music, graphics and gameplay made up for it though.

  • beats me, probably a case of Stockholm syndrome.

  • Considering sex with Palpaleos is implied in the game is saying something.

  • this music is fuckin awesome! thanks for uploading this

  • yea i have this game and super mario in my psp :)... i know amazing, thats y its good 2 have nerds for friends :) there so cool...well most of them

  • Bahamut Lagoon have english version ? I dont know it .

  • yah, not official tho

    fan translation with emulators

  • I imported this game when it came out and still greatly enjoy Noriko Matsueda's work on this title. There are two orchestral arrangements that were released with the strategy guide that are also very good.

  • I should finish my game someday :( but I'd have to finish Rudra first.

  • I ALMOST finished that, but I encountered a bug while playing on Surlent's campaign that made it impossible for me to finish it. I hadn't saved my other two finished campaigns, so I would have to restart the whole game and clear them if I wanted to clear the whole game.

    Needless to say, I quit.

  • Ah, I forgot to mention that Rudra has some good music. Nice that Garudoh uploaded those too.

  • This game looks awesome. I love the music.

  • Awesome!

  • too bad it never made it outside japan.

i know there is a fan translation, but i prefer a cardridge.

  • I dont know the companys music sounds like there all linked together but dont get me wrong its still good music

  • i love your videos!

  • Thanks, glad you like 'em.
