I think the reason we haven't received any updates to VF5 is because the demand is not high enough, It would be great to have all the costumes and the jean character like they do here in the arcades of japan. Funny thing is I went an arcade that was owned by sega and I couldn't find this game, there is so much they could do with this game

If nothing else, the customization options in VF5 blow every other fighter I know away. Could you even tell that was Aoi without the intro, name, and face?

Tekken, SF, and DAO are nothing compared to VF. SF you can just spam Hadokens, Tekken you can spam certain kick moves and it more built on character personalities than on fighter abilities example (the guy who looks like Jackie Chan), and DAO is just about eye candy. I can also put in King of Fighters and Mortal Kombat as other broad based fighting games that doesn't measure up. VF is about realism and actualism. You can learn how to fight from VF if you practice the moves at home.

@TheRadicalRyushin If you own a 360 and a copy of any Street Fighter game with Xbox Live multiplayer I will bet you money that if you spam hadoukens you will lose horribly. Lei Wulong, that guy who you say looks like Jackie Chan, is one of the most complex characters in the Tekken series with the biggest movelist and no two players use him the exact same way. I also think you mean DOA, and both that and MK no one plays seriously anymore.

@TheRadicalRyushin I love Virtua Fighter 5, I think it's a fabulous game as far as fighting games are concerned (complexity, unmatched character balance, netcode, etc), but I know for a fact that based on what you're saying about every other fighting game that you're a scrub that doesn't know how complex each game is at high level play - you just lose to really dumb shit and assume that's all each game has to offer.

Jean Kujo is a french karateka and a childhood friend of Lion.

When they were going to have a friend match, Lion found Jean´s house destroyed and he was missing. Jean was kidnapped by J6 and he became a brainwashed assassin.

He enters in the tournament to kill Lion.

Akira studies Bajiquan which is a Chinese Martial Art (often studied along with Piguaquan). It was later picked up in Japan as well and they called it Hakkyokuken.

Very good of you to know bajiquan's origin. I still believe AM-2 should had brought in a piguaquan (hika-ken in Japanese pronounciation) fighter for this remake since it and bajiquan were taught together.

You know it I realized in playing the game for over 6 damn years that Akira uses a style of Kung-Fu, and not Karate. What a ham I am.

yeah he uses a type of chinese martial arts. I learned about it in early 08 myself. He probably studied in japan, so he uses the Gi(or whatever it's called) we're used to karatekas(plural?) use. Also, Jean has a cool stance, and he makes karate seem pretty cool in a realistic manner.
