Um, I hope you know that this "SerialKiffle" person cannot make a new Avatar series. He will be sued for copyright. And the new series is Avatar: Legend of Korra...not this crap. Unless Nickleodeon and Viacom and the creators of Avatar gave him permisson, this is pointless and stupid.

To answer your question... who said anything about anyone dying in the Avatar state? Just because Aang is dead doesn't mean that the Avatar cycle is broken.

In other words, Aang didn't die in the Avatar State.

Does that make sense?

Aang did die in the avatar state, but he was revived a few minutes later.. It only meant the avatar would be no more if an avatar was killed for good in the avatar state...
