Hi, everybody. Quick update. I gave Keira's parents a call and got an earful. I tried to be nice and understanding, but they didn't want anything to do with me. I guess they blamed me somehow for Keira's recent behaviors.

Anyway, I do know they have all her stuff, which means her PDA is probably in her room somewhere.

You want me to do a background check? I'm not a cop or anything. I don't even go to the same school! I'll see if there's anything I can find on my end though. I think you've got some decent ideas and I like that you're open-minded.

Look out for Tony. He's sketchy.

In fact, I'll go so far as to believe that HE'S the killer.

Here's how it went down:

Tony was buying from Keira (sp?). In exchange for the Dust, Tony kept quiet about the deals. All is good.

But on the night of the party, Keira...runs out of Dust. Tony uses this to his advantage, saying that he'll expose her for drug dealing if she doesn't come up with the stuff soon.

But Keira fights back, saying that if he exposes her, she'll expose him for blackmail.

So, enraged, Tony gives Keira a piece of his mind.

They argue over the Dust, and finally Tony snaps.

He whips a gun (.22 caliber) on Keira, and says that if she doesn't come up with the stuff right now he'll pull the trigger.

She doesn't, he pulls. Gunshot is heard.

Keira is now dead.

Noticing what he's done, Tony freaks. He tries desperately to make it look like a suicide.

So, he cleans up the best he can, but he can't seem to hide the fact that Keira's shirt has a hole in it.

Wow, fascinating theory. I need to think about Tony in that context. That's crazy stuff. I know the two of them knew each other. Tony is a RA so he knew a lot of people. But I never saw them hang out besides that. Hmmm...

when you do talk to them just try not to mention to much that you think their daughter was murdered. im sure they are in enough pain right now and only telling them that may add to it. just say she had some photos or something you want for the memento's of your friendship or something...

Tread lightly with them. Don't mention the drug scandals. If they already don't like you, they may take it the wrong way. The last thing you need is for them to get defensive on you.

Aw, I thought that was kinda nice of him. Maybe Herman has a heart after all. He just comes on a little too strong. Maybe he actually wanted to know Keira, but she turned him down without giving him a chance. That is something that hurts, trust me. Poor Herman. =)

I really don't think Herman did this. He may be a bit awkward and dorky, but he certainly doesn't seem a murderer. He's actually rather endearing.

on an added note... those cops probably have any of these possessions so you might have to check them. or her room. or even her family for things like this. maybe they know? and also, did she have a will or something to say where her possessions go should she pass away?

so her stuff is definitely not in her room. the cops don't have any of her stuff either. I doubt keira would have a will. So maybe her family is the key! that's what starzz57 mentioned too. you guys have some great ideas.

Well Let's see. Did anyone pick up her personal effects? She might have had her PDA on her when she died. I'm sure you have already searched her apartment from top to bottom for clues on how she died.

I've searched her place before but all her things were gone. I don't think the cops have it either. Any thoughts on where I might be able to find them?

It was useful information. When it comes to Herman/Slade/"stalker-boy", just remember the old saying; "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

As far as her PDA, if her room wasn't touched since the murder check in there; or maybe she gave it to her two "friends". It could have been taken by police. You could go to those cops and see if you can get it from them. If the murderer was smart, it would have been stolen.

This might sound stupid, but how did he know she even had a PDA?
