I remember reading an interview with Brad after Night Ranger took off, saying this gig with Ozzy was an impossible task. Kids in the front with RR t-shirts flipping him off the whole show - that kind of thing. Gotta give the guy credit; those were size 100 shoes to try and fill.

Thanks for the Videos. This tour was the best I ever saw Ozzy. I was fortunate enough to see it with Randy at the Ax. 2 weeks later he was gone. However thumbs up to Brad Gillis, he had impossible shoes to fill. Peace

I gotta hand it to Brad Gillis. He does this and many other songs pretty well. Of course he's no Randy, but of all Ozzy guitarists he probably does them best. Just too bad he didn't do something similar in Night Ranger haha.

This is my favorite Brad Gillis stuff here-I think he did a fantastic job under the circumstances...They all loved Randy and they all had to go on even when they didn't want to.

The record company was in contract for a live albulm.Ozzy loved and respected Rhoads and diddent want to release the live albulm so soon after Randy death later to be called Tribute.He did as agreed and gave them a live album.Brad did a great job and is a great guitar player.

@SideWinerRocks Brad Gillis is a great player - one of the under-rated ones. If it looks like he's not playing, it's only because of the video quality. Gillis was from the band Night Ranger. After Randy's death, Ozzy also had the guitarist from Pat Benatar playing with him for a while.
