Yes asus has improved its eeepc design with the sea shell models. Hey someone asked does it have a graphic card. No it does not. It battery backup is really wonderful

i just had to pay fifty bucks for insurance, so it was $50, but u cant use it for aything actually fun, and if they found out u dl'd anthing or played games on it, they take it away. plus they were the old ones that froze up and crashed alot

u r a nimrod, a free macbook for school purposes only from the school isnt unrealistic, especially since i would never buy a macbook, not just cuz it isnt worth $1500, but because a $300 netbook running windows can do more then a $1500 macbook

They could but their main priority is size and when you add an optical drive you need a bigger battery to power it. Also with the adding of an optical drive you also block out air flow so there is that. Don't get me wrong i would love to watch dvd on them but its sad you can't have both.

Umm I don't think a netbook can really compare with the MB Air. What is this guy smoking? And 1 inch? MB Air is 0.76 at the thickest point, its not close. Even my Dell E4200 is 0.79 at thickest.
