im so stuck... whenever i do this i have a ghost drumbeat that plays when i record, as soon as i click record, a drum pattern starts playing without any drum loop on the sequencer. does anyone know what i mean?

On your Redrum, you need to disable the button that says Enable Pattern Section. It's above the big RUN button.

Basically the Redrum has an inbuilt step sequencer... this is pretty basic, you should look it up...

thanks for the tip man, ps: reason 4 is big crap, nice new synth in it but 3 is easyer to work with, to copy patterns ect... 4 just make me nervous

@1981chrismartin yea..i still use reason 3, i have 4 on my other comp..but its slower than my pc..and i dont have enuff space for all the sounds..the reason 3 sequencer is deffinately better
