Try leaving it stock and if it gets too hot then gear it down. I think stock would be fine though but I haven't tried a 2s lipo in parallel yet.

can you leave the gearing stock for 2s lipo in parallel? or do you need the speed pinion

@alpinestarrider1 You get about 10-20 mins. depending on how hard you're running. I've burned up 2 Traxxas stock packs and not gonna buy any more. Just gonna stick with 3s lipo. It's lighter, goes just as fast as 2 Traxxas packs. Just didn't have good luck with those stock packs-get way too hot and they don't last when they got hot like that.

It was the :"speed:" pinion gear which is the smaller one.

i know the info says stock but was it with the pinion gear that came in it or did u change it to the optional 1 that comes in the box?
