while this seems fun it doesn't seem like its worth the $60 and i'm a big halo fan. a caimpaign and firefight along with virtually halo 3, which i already own, so basically i'm paying for a game i already have and wat seems to be just a giant add on :P. That is correct. The only multiplayer on the game when playing as an ODST soldier is in firefight which is ODST Vs. Covenant. However on the bonus disc you can play PvP but of course that is Halo 3 not Halo 3: ODST.

Halo 3: Odst lets you play as the normal people you have fought along side with throughout the Halo trilogy. The ODST a NORMAL Human Being, not the Genetically enhanced super soldier that is Master Chief. In this game you play as the weaker side making teamwork and strategy the key instead of the basic Shoot bad guy let your shield reload shoot bad guy let your shield reload and repeat. This game has basic HUMAN health making it more fun in my opinion.

No, there's a second disk that has the 3 new maps, plus all 12 maps, that were in the Heroic, Legendary and Mythic map packs that were released on the market place. Basically, you're playing Halo 3 but with three new maps. This is an extension to Halo 3, not a sequel.

In a sense it does, but you're on a team, "Firefight" as they call it is replacing Halo 3's "Matchmaking" - As far as I know, I haven't looked into this game very much. The game will shift with 2 discs 1 including Campaign, Co-op, and Firefight mode, and the second including all the multiplayer content, I'm assuming thats why you see firefight on the main menu instead of the old matchmaking option.

for me i would buy firefight by itself, ive been looking forward to a halo survival mode since the first one. a difference is that the campaign is open, you wander around the city free roam style looking for your team. when you find them you do a mission from their point of view
