  • what was the accident in the video!?!? just a barrel down? how is that retarded? its a mistake that the rider is at fault for...

  • @bl18mm06 agreed. i tought she was going to break something, or at least faal of her horse. i dont think some thing is retarded, it was a little mistake in teamwork , that is all.

  • i have an idea, how about everyone just shuts up. no matter wat any living creature does, there will be stress on the body, its just a fact of life. atleast horses can have the wear and tear on their bodies monitored and revented to a certain degree by their human partners. suplement or bracers etc can be used to prevent more damage. just shut up please and watch the video.

  • @blackpheonix1254 *prevented

  • @blackpheonix1254 true that I mean I love being a cowgirl but it has it ups and downs I love riding in rodeos and just plain riding in the fields and on mountains

  • @antigoneh8 u kno wat i mean? i love riding dresage, jumping, barrel racing etc. but im already feeling it in my back and my knees from the dressage and horses running my knees into jump standards. its all part of riding and its wat i love and wouldn't change for anything. <3

  • i love your horse! paints are the best! it really sucks knocking over barrels!

  • oh and i have a barrel horse who doesnt get fired up going into the ring he goes in comes out after running a 16 and i would not feel worried about throughing a little kid on his back afterwards. most of them know their job is done once they leave the ring so they are calm

  • Your so lucky!! My horse does not act like yours! My horse is worse!! Worse the the NFR horses at the gate. But on my videos we were pretty bad at the barrels and not prancing as much.

  • Wow this vid has a lot of complaints and agruments lol

Well I train my cousins horses to barrel race kind of but I don't have a horse so thats why I train my cousins untill they gave them to a farmer:(

  • Im not even in my teens and im training my own barrel horse who is fine and ive fell off but people fall off so dont complain

  • @KissmyBlue Im not a teen either. I am 11 and I trained my barrel horse. :)

  • i dont get the accident?

  • im not one to love barrel racing..in fact i hate it.. but for some reason i cant stop watching vids about them. and about show horses (how that came up on a barrel vid) they all dont go lame fast, they can show WELL into their teens w.o problems... barrel horses can get lame super fast as well.... i show and train, and with good training, theyll never go lame from the way they r trained.. just by other means

  • @tmustang94 what is wrong with you barrel racing is a speed event, obviously, some horses will go lame, but most barrel horses become as old as regular horses.

  • @NightRiderx4 lol duh its a speed event, and duh they also get old

  • @tmustang94 show horses go lame faster then most properly trained barrel horses

  • @bridlelessgirl barrel horses can also have joint problems if started early

  • @tmustang94 not as fast...western pleasure horses are started very early to compeate in the 2-3 year old futurites. Most people who ride WP are fat..so they cant handle all the weight on their knees.

  • @tmustang94 not as fast?? how would you like running around small circles fast when your bones arnt fully developed, and barrel horses are also started at 2 or 3, and the comment about fat riders was totally stupid, ive watched the AQHA world show western pleasure, almost everybody was skinny and lean, and fat asses ride barrels too

  • @tmustang94 running is natural..very natural. Infact wild mustangs start running as soon as they can walk. So dont start about that! And yes some barrel horses are..but they are worked as bad a wp horses. I too have trained with and worked with AQHA well known trainers as well as APHA and Arabians. I have been all over the show world..seen the worst stuff done to wp horses then barrel horses. Going so slow your joints lock up, keeping your tail tucked in between your legs isnt natural..they

  • @tmustang94 put a drug into the horses tail to the horse cant move the tail. Fake tails..barrel horses dont use fake tails..we dont care what our horses look like. I have seen sooo many people try to force their horse to be a wp horse. Spending thousands of dollars..and the horse ends up being force to do it. Barrel horses arent fast enough..they are sold plain and simple! Dont tell me what you dont know. And yes large people ride barrels to..i know 1 I know way more wp people that are fat

  • @bridlelessgirl k bout wp horses..their BRED to go slow, so it comes natural, and about the ppl forcing horse to be wp horses, its the persons fault that they force a horse to do that and spend thousands of dollars, thats just stupidity of the owner/rider, and ive seen ppl force horses to do barrels, whipping them to go faster, spurring them to make them go faster, giving them drugs to "try" and enhance their performance, at least the majority of wp horses arnt crazy and hyper

  • @tmustang94 its not natrual for a horse to drag its nose on the ground..and no barrel horses arent given drugs to go faster..maybe vitamins, joint stuff etc...I read a thing inour horse paper about a WP stalion that is 7 years old and went lame in both his back legs..they were going to put him down but then decided to spend a lot of money toe him show more..its sad and stupid.

  • @bridlelessgirl wp has evolved and no longer carry noses on the ground, and about the stud, how do you know he went lame from riding western pleasure, not from genetics or an outside injury?? and the fact of him showing again has nothing to do with wp being stupid, its the owners decisions, a barrel horse could also get lame and the owners could also spend thousands of dollars to have him run more, is that also sad and stupid?

  • @tmustang94 yes it has evolved and i hate it..its stupid now..it did use to be about who is slower then the other..

  • @bridlelessgirl it still is honey

  • @tmustang94 didnt* use to be about who was slower then the other..now all te horses are robots with ulcer linned stomachs..I dont care what you say you wont change my mind. I have seen horses had to be put down becuase of it..My opinon is the same..I dont like western pleasure. Wish it would end or goback to the way it was

  • @tmustang94 YOU obviously arn't educated on barrel racing love. Horses are started around age 6 for people who know what they're doing. My horse was started at age 9 and in two years she runs low 18's. Sorry to say but you are stupid. There are rarely large riders who run well on barrels.

  • @WolfsRainBabe12 honey i know just as much as the next person so shut the fuck up on that. also ive SEEN MANY MANY barrel horses started at 2 or 3, and if their started at 6 no wonder their nust cause their started late, and yes i know theier are large ppl who run barrels, and same with western pleasure, in my opionion honey, you joined this argument WAYY to late, so just give up on it

  • @tmustang94 Well most of these 'next persons' Do not know much. The people who start their horses at 2 or 3 know nothing like a said. If you wanted a good horse to stay good, they would start around 5-8 like I do. I am not using harsh language to you, so apparently you need to learn self control. There are some large riders, but I said /rarely/. Arguments are never to late to join.

  • @WolfsRainBabe12 lol i know alot of "next persons" with great knowledge. and so for any rider to start a horse at 2 or 3 is stupid? cause their are MANY show horses that are started at that age...in fact all, and a any person knows that teaching something young is better because their more willing and their brain is growing, and their are RARELY large western pleasure riders as well, and about the harshness, i guess im just harsh to ppl who think they know everything but dont,

  • @tmustang94 you should never start a horse for anything except basic on the back training when they are two or 3 because they aren't fully grown. and ps stop chirping barrel racing until you have actually tried it and im not going to chirp performance horses because i show performance as well and i infact do not drug my horse the only suppliments he gets are electrolites and joint sup

  • @champagneskipper96 umm honey im not the only one who trains my horses at 2 or 3, race horses at started at 18 months, and thier are big named trainers that start at 2 or 3. so dont come at me about that, and yes i have tried barrel racing, which is why i dont like it, im sorry you cant excpet my opionion, and PS, im not the only one on this vid chirping barrel racing honey

  • @WolfsRainBabe12 i also hate how ppl say "i train horses myself" you wanna how many ppl have said that to me when i get into an argument with them... EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, and yet they had no vids to back it up

  • @WolfsRainBabe12 i also hate when ppl hate on western pleasure when they also know nothing about the industry, do you know anything about, and yes i know how the barrel industry is, ive done barrels

  • @tmustang94 I grew up doing western pleasure. Boring as hell. The horses are deadheads with no spirit. They have no spunk, no speed or fight in them. I enjoy horses who have the will and mind to fight back, puts the fun and dangers into riding them. I have trained barrel horses and I'm not even in my 20's. My horses run 18's with in a year and a half or two years with no training under their saddle before hand. I had a greenbroke mare run a 20 in 3 months.

  • @WolfsRainBabe12 i grew up doin barrels, stupid as hell, the horses are crazy and dangerous, and never want to clam down, and its not my fault that western pleasure horses are so clam and focused..maybe thats wat makes a good horse?? not stupid and crazy?? and yes i like horses that like to fight back as well, keeps you on ur toes, and im only 16 and have trained many horses, one reining, all of mine western pleasure, who show very well on the AQHA and APHA show circuits, a dressage horse,

  • @tmustang94 western pleasure horses are unnatural and ugly... your horses hocks are probably way worse than my barrel horses because how UNATURAL your horse is moving. its hidous. my horses arent crazy either SO GET AT ME

  • @xmarisax02 oh right i forgot how its natrual for a horse to turn in small circles, honey if your horses hocks rnt messed now.. they soon will be, and our horses are meant to do that, its completely NATRUAL to them, and my horses rnt unnatural. SO GET AT ME BITCH

  • @tmustang94 Funny how my horses have been barrel racing forever with no problems.... vets even say so. Western pleasure is MUCH harder on joints than barrel racing

  • @xmarisax02 oh really? cause my horses arent lame either! WOW!!! my vets have never said anything about mine being lame either! honey, barrel racing can mess up a horses leg cause of the stress of the turns

  • @WolfsRainBabe12 and have worked with many problem horses

  • @tmustang94 As have I. It's not uncommon.

  • @WolfsRainBabe12 yeah. I do a little barrels with my QH gelding, and hes usually a sweetie so I just go fast, cause I find walking gets old after a bit, but the other day he turned a simple trail ride into a rodeo. He got some nice air. It was awesome lol. all 4's off the ground =D but my moms horse Casey is SO boring. Yes she has an awesome canter but man is it slow. She only walks to jogs on trails while me and Tuff and kickin up dust and weaving around trees. =/

  • okay you may have knock a barrel but your horse is amazing and your an amazing rider :)

  • this is at gilbert !!!!

  • Nice horse I run a stud too

  • Nice horse

  • there wasnt much of an accident. just on th second barrel u dropped ur hands a little too soon, everyone does it sometimes. and also on ur third barrel, u didnt rele sit, u just kind of sat up the whole turn.

overall, nice run and beautiful horse!!! XD

  • hmmm.. you turned too close to the second barrel.. that was the accident. overall. good practice & nice stud. :) im in the procceess of traning my current prospect :) check it out :D

  • whats the problem? there was no accadent..???

  • im not to sure on what the arguement is about..but when people say using the crop is beating your horse..that's kinda crazy..a crop, over and under..any kind of whip is just used for encouragment.(:

    nice run! gorgeous horse!

  • thats a beautiful horse!!

  • ummm i understand that was not a very big accident but that horse is so pretty

  • He is GORGEOUS

  • pretty horse

  • Pretty horse!! Just another simple mistake!!

  • is this at Gilbert? We use to run there now we do barrel Practice

  • yes it is..

  • Where's the accident at?

  • sooo... where was the accident here lol?

  • I agree with 74011. by the way western pleasure is so much funner...but anyways, try to pick up your horses shoulder, thats probably why he wasnt doing to well

  • Excuse me, how do you pick up a horse's shoulder?

  • well its complicated and takes a lot of time...lol. what i do for western pleasure is if he starts to fall onto his leading shoulder ill take him and counter canter him in a circle. this makes him have to use his shoulder. theres a lot of different ways, but this is how i do it:)

  • i dont think you know wht you saying

  • umm i think i do, ive been to worlds seven times and have won a lot, if i didnt know, im sure i wouldnt be where i am.

  • you have been to barrel racing worlds? its called nationals..and i doubt that..cus i have friend who do open and are is all age groups * even old people* and they win alot! my friend lake paid 100k for her horse! no joke!!!

  • umm, i didnt say barrel racing worlds, just apha/ajpha worlds :) but 100k for a good western pleasure horse is not so much, but i must say in these times, the prices have changed...

  • not for barrel horses..yes for pleasure horses cus they arent crap! they get lame sooo fast!

  • well, i have a 13 yr old pleasure horse, still as sound as can be. wait so are you saying western pleasure horses are or arent crap?

  • If your horse is smart...which most are...lol all you have to do is pick up your rein and put the leg thats on that shoulder into the horse. they are using that shoulder when the canter duh!!! i dont think 1sorelhorse knows what they are talking about!

  • I'm just saying, it's impossible to pick up a horse's shoulder when riding.

  • no. i can you might not be able to..but you can figure it out...

  • Yeah, because all riders are strong enough to take a rein and pick up their 1000+lb horse's shoulder.

  • no..the rein goes to that face..not to the shoulder..duhhhh... the horse picks up the shoulder but you have to ask them to..it like when you ask a horse to take leads..is really only in barrel pole cutting sorting and horses that have alot of motion in the front. and a little fyi..you cant train a horse to pick up their shoulder from the ground.

  • ok, crimson, im not trying to be mean, but come on... i think that even bridlelessgirl would agree with me...you obviosly cant grasp the concept of what we are saying, no were not going to take our hand and pick up their shoulder! but instead through a series of intricate excersizes we make them rock onto their haunches and instead of "falling" onto there shoulder, they really use and lift it.

  • @xXCrimsonFireXx fucken retard hah(:

  • Comment removed

  • @xXCrimsonFireXx wow ur dumb.... I'm a top barrel racer, all you have to do is when your turning the barrel instead of pulling your rein out you pull it up and bring your shoulder up as well.

  • Western pleasure is so much funner?

Now I am not a barrel racing enthusiast, but you have got to be joking me.

  • lol i know! all you do is sit there. i still show every now and again for other people though...

  • Ya and all you do is beat up on your horse for no reason. thats why hes bad at what he does

  • oh really? have you ever seen me beat on any of my horses? no..cus i dont..the crop? alot of barrel racers do it and it helps..AND this horse is running 17's on barrel big pattern..so just hush!

  • you know that was your fault because you were the one who turned him he was only listening to you

  • omg?!?! Really i didnt know that!!!! *note the sarcasim!*

  • god you dont have to be a mean about it

  • i wasnt being mean..i know i did it tho and he is not young he is 11 and i sold him and now the horse clean up all jr. rodeo events with my friend..she run 17.2's and less on the horse and poles idk..but he has won money, buckles, saddles, breast collars, ect..he is a very nice horse that was one of his first runs..he wasnt broke till he was 9 and then he was used for roping but always passed the steer even if he was aced..

  • he is gorgeous

  • pretty horse :)

  • he is a beautiful horse

  • yep, understood. I don't see you as rude in the comments compared to everyone else

  • yeah 74011 her parents raised a disrespectful jackass and your not at all..

    Gosh stupid people..

  • i dont mean to be rude..i just hate when ppl say crape about my baby..(the horse) but yes that person was rude..and the funny thing..since they claim to be it all..but they have no vids..

  • Where is the accident? Dont get mad at your horse because of your mistake. Set him up right and he wont shoulder that second barrel so bad. And there is no one you paid that much to run that slow.

  • yes i kno..he knocked a barrel..that is bad..not good! and he is fast..he ran a 18.6 there..but he got faster..but i sold him..

  • too bad he shoulders terrible and he can't close a barrel.

  • funnyy! but if your such a good trainer...how come you have no vids of it?

  • circle,circle...talk in circles....don't be a bitch to me cause your stupid. Be mad at your parents for raising a disrespectful jackass.

In your own words, it says below and I quote: I am NOT aloud to wear shin guards.

Honey, I have been raising and training barrels horses longer than your been alive and you'll find out everyone as an opinion when you grow up. Your the dumbass that posted this video...remember that STUPID

  • unless you are a stalker you dont know my age..and tis is not worth my time..e is a great all around horse..would you like more videos of him running?

  • apparenlty by how bull shit your stories are, your a little girl.

  • haha i agree with 74011cwby

  • Your horse is gorgeous!!

  • wow he is beautiful and has great turns your lucky to have him

  • i have to wear shin guards win i barrel race because in the POA shows barrels are metal and they hurt really bad when you hit them

  • lol yes i am not aloud to wear guards tho..so when i do hit.. i get big scars....

  • NOT aloud to wear shin guards ?? you do run in a jacked up district....lol...there is no such rule in any rodeo, playday or whatever...your such a dink like your horse and a liar....where's the freaking pedigree at ? Since it's taken you this long to respond then I'm sure your writing out that he had all the greats on his papers ...LMAO...such a fool...

  • suck a fool..hmm well i dont wear gaurds cus i shouldnt hit THE FUCKING BARRELS! duh...i am aloud to wear them...just dont want to..simple!

  • What was the acciedent??

  • well horses are very un pridictiable trust me but i love them all the way u cant count on money to get u a horse u have to work for your horse most ppl dont relize that and they get hurt so they blam the horse and sell him or her!!! i dont do that

  • Good Run For A Stud.

Sorry ABout The Barrel.. Everyone Does That. Even World Champions.

    Just keep Workin On Him

  • he wasnt that bad at all.. hes very prettyyyy

  • I call BS on this. First of all, you surely didn't pay $150 to enter and then run like that. That was stupid to begin with I'm sorry to say. and yes, he should have been gelded. Nothing confo size to breed to.

  • For your info..SHUT UP! you dont kno jack shit about him..he just won me 4 buckles 2 saddles and a brand new shiney headstall... you dont kno crap thank you and have a wonderful day!

  • then you must run in a junk district then cause he couldn't outrun me on a bad day. Playdays don't count as Real buckles jackass...lol So if he's all that, then you won't mind putting his breeding on here then...so where is it ??

  • he looks like he loves to do barrels!

  • is the "accident" where you knocked over the barrel?

  • what accident

  • he's beautiful

  • WHAT "aciddent" ?????

  • HE IS GORGOUS!

  • nice turns!

  • not a aciddent but nice turns and gorgeous horse!!!!! wish i hade one

  • wat aciddent

  • that wasnt an accident?

only knocked down a barrel :P

    ahah, nice run =D

  • wow hes gorgeous

    nice turns

  • he has suck a pretty gait!

would be great in hunter/jumper id imagine...or maby some type of western pleasure?

i couldent tell if u were using 2 hands to steer but if u only use one is it true u can stableize the berral wit your other hand in a show?

  • yes u can catch the barrel and set it up quick if u can

  • Ha! I did that with pole bending once! Its stayed and I got faast time for the night. It was funny. That same night i got a HUGE gash in my leg from running a 4 year old who flipped over the barrel. To darn I dont get those on tape! But with barrels i am not that talented..i will have to learn.

  • how did she flip over?

  • The arena way terrible. Thick thick clay type dirt. Wich is also VERY dusty. She turned the barrel and fell into in it. She just rolled over it. Her butt landed on my back. The only this that hurt me was the gash in my leg. I had to run poles with my pants covered in blood. It was gross. The horse is fine and stands 4 sale. She is a perfect angel though. And my friend didnt know how to work the camera..darn!

  • o that sucks!

  • your one of those people who blames everything on the ground i'm guessing. Poor sportsmanship

  • no...he just tends to drop his shoulder...he got better after a few lessons just trotting around them..he likes running poles better though..

  • were is the accident? i hav knocked before...but i dont consider it an accident..just a mistake

  • I consider it a big boo boo. I can t win money if i knock a barrel over. *MORE VIDEOS COMMING SOON* better and new videos..western pleasure and barrel videos! fun fun!

  • Thats pretty ridiculous to get mad at him because you knocked over a barrel. Too bad if you dont win money, everyone makes mistakes!

  • No, I didnt get mad at him. It was an accident. My filly stopped at all of her barrels the first time she ran. Yes I paid 150$ to enter, but it was her first run. She ran a 23 then her 2nd run she ran a 19 then her 3rd run we got dq. I made her turn the last barrel 2 times. She wasnt paying attention to me so I stopped her. Money dosnt matter much anymore..its to have fun and work with the horses. I sold him to a girl and she couldnt be any more happy with him. He is also now gelded. 0.o

  • where was the accident?.

  • Wow Yall are doing great at barrel racing, Yall make a great team!! :)

  • So how is your stud bred? Has he produced any barrel horses so far? Just a word of advice when you going to your second barrel you shoudl really switch hands, the way I tell my students "the hand closest the the barrel drives". This would help you a bunch since the shoulder is dropping into the barrel and you are hitting the barrel.

As for Congress I hear ya won reserve champion in poles 2 years ago. How did you place while you were there? What was your horse's name?

  • His great grand pa is Jet Deck and he has been a roping horse/ ranch horse his whole life. His registered name in LM Daota Jet and he has so far sired around 250 foals in Utah I dont know where they are now though. His foals are roping, ranch versatilty, ranch work, and gymkannaor barrel racing. I know run 18's and 17's on him becuse of the hand thanks for the comment though!!

  • Oh, I hear ya on that. I have a barrel horse, but no capable rider. I ride W/P :)

  • Oh man i miss w/p I was riding it since I was 2 and I trian peoples horses for them and most of the time it is w/p becuse I know secrets to it!!! As just being 14 I have gone to congress (paint and quater horse) 3 times!!! Its VERY hard

  • Very nice horse, but where is the accident?

  • Barrel racing as many people is very hard...so hitting the barrel is something you dont want to do..thanks for the comment though
