Do you know much about his standings on the welfare of the us people? Do you know much about his voting record? REMEMBER: He DIDN'T vote for the patriot act. Something both Obama and McCain did. You should really do your research on the guy.

I will never understand how people continue to vilify and crucify the only people that can create positive change in their lives. Only years later we read and say, ho hum. That was a shame - and the cycle continues...

At times Ron seems a bit crazied. I suppose it takes a bit of craziness to stick you neck out against the status quo. He is a hero in a World that has has too few. I love the part when people start clapping and he says, "please don't..." He is not up there for his Ego or power, he is up there for the right reasons.

Thank you, Ron Paul. The main thing I realized about you during the primaries was that you had a lot of admirers amongst my friends, and quite a few were re-registering from Democratic or Green, to Republican, in order to vote for you in the primaries because of your opposition to the war, but now I'm really impressed.

Something very telling about this speech. When McCain's campaign called, they asked Ron Paul to endorse McCain, with the selling point "He will probably do less damage than Obama." Apparrently, even they think McCain is the "lesser of two evils".

The "third" party is actually the third through 10th party. The point is that ANYONE can get on the ballot and get in the debates. You know.. a Republic..

I think the problem is that people will always listen to the media of their choice more than they will listen to what the candidates actually believe. Think of the convention speeches at the RNC and DNC - people acted as if the speeches were what qw should decide to vote on. I don't vote for speeches - I vote based on the candidate's previous actions.

Everyone I talk to has said they are voting for the LESSER OF TWO EVILS. Ron Paul is right, we need excellence in the WHITE HOUSE NOT the lesser of two evils. Obama is asking people to vote for him because McCain will be another Bush - instead of asking for votes because HE IS THE BEST CHOICE. And McCain is asking people to vote for him so we can STOP THE OBAMA EXPRESS.I hate what this election has come down too. I have looked it up and as long as you spell the person's name right and they are an eligible candidate then they can be voted into office. Next time provide a link.

Depends on the state. Some states require write-ins candidates to register as well. Sounds stupid but the two parties control all.
