I didn't expect I would find a video for the exact product I bought - what luck! I can't believe they were so cheap to add a single image of instruction for fitting the front mudguard.
Thanks for the video. I found I was able to attach it without needing to drill extra holes and was able to use one of the bolts already attached to the frame. I'm still using the o-rings too. It's not quite as close to the front wheel as I would like, but I'll see if it's a problem when I hit wet weather!

Good advice, I had exactly the same problem and came up the same idea. Still not sure what the instructions were trying to say.
