I'm new to your videos but I have to say that you're great!
I have one request (or maybe two-sorry!). The first is Mariah's look in Busta Rhyme's 'I know what you want' video.The second is Britney's look in the MAKING of her 'video', NOT how she looks in the video itself. I actually found her make-up to be quite garish in the actual video. In the making she's hot!

Have you done any individual lash application tutorials? I think a lot of your fans would find those less intimidating, and certainly acceptable for daytime wear.
I LOVE the 60's, so I'll be sure to try that out for Halloween next year. Last year, I was a 60's girl with the big hair and the dress, and I did do the cat eye eyeliner, but I couldn't get the eact look I was hoping for so I can't wait to do my makeup properly next year. Thanks! By the way, you are a gorgeous girl!
I do it because it blends together your own lashes with the falsies. It also covers any fallout from eyeshadow that may occur before or after application. I always go over the mascara on the false lashes with a clean mascara wand brush to remove any excess product.
I have no problem wearing them during the day. I am brave enough to do it. I guess it's more "acceptable" in the evening. But it's up to you. If you are worried about it, try going for a more natural looking false lash- they are usually not as long, and not so full.
Did you see the Twiggy video I did, and the mod eye (the non flower eye). I did a couple of lashes with ink liner. Are you wanting a full drawn band of lashes on the lower eye?
I agree im dying to see and know that. To be honest I saw that video and it really didnt have the effect as seen in Twiggys pictures. Now im not sure how that have done it they might have done it by individual fake eyelashes?? I would love to see a video so i second that video request
I think Twiggy was blessed with great lower lashes, but the quickest and best way to acheive the look is to use a band of lower false eyelashes (you can buy some from mac).... or you can draw them, but it can look a little funny at different angles.... but I can show both ways.
If you clean them afterwards, I'd probably reuse mine about 4 or 5 times.
And for cleaning, I pick off the glue with my fingers and tweezers, and then I use a good oil based makeup remover like Mac's gently off, and gently rub the lashes between two tissues.
3. how do u apply eyeliner on the lower lashes from the outside of your eye? becoz every time i do it it becomes thicker than i want it. and i find it hard to do (to make a thin neat line). what is the easiest way to apply it?

For the eyeliner, use a sharpened khol pencil, and get the liner to a point. This will really help. Apply it in small strokes too.
And for your lips, I would suggest a little foundation and some powder, or use a light coloured lip lacquer. I have the opposite problem to you where gloss makes my lips look too light and lack definition.
1. i have naturally bright red lips. i hate them so much (it doesent suit me at all)i wud like to have a natural, pinky looking coloured lip, kinda like yours (probably bit lighter). ive been tryin to buy gloss that gives that natural look but when i wear it the redness shows through, so it doesent realli suit me, then i try the trick with the foundation on your lips, but every time i lick my lips my lip colour becomes red again.
I wanna get Falsies now! Any suggestion on where I can get good lashes. And to revreate this, can I use a dark kinda charcoaly gray lightly? I'm still a beginner. I've been doing my make up with frecuency for about a year now but I'm begining to use more colors with out loosing the Rocker Attitude and like, adding girly to it. Any particular advice for that?
My eyebrows are naturally quite thick and bushy. I've been pluckign my eyebrows since I was 14! If you havent' plucked yours before, I suggest you getting them waxed and styled at first, and then just maintain the shape by plucking yourself, after that.

I use a kerastase treatment (comes in a jar) and I apply it after shampooing my hair. I let it sit in my hair for about 5 mins, and if I'm really good, I'll also place a hot towel over my hair while I wait.
Years ago, I really destroyed my hair by lightening my hair. I had sort of J'Lo or Beyonce coloured hair. My hair was so damaged for a couple of years, I ended up having a keratin/protein treatment done at the salon (takes like an hour!)

Yes you can wear them again. After you take them off, pick off the glue off the band. I use my hands or tweezers. THen I gently remove any mascara from them with a good oil based makeup remover and gently wipe them with a tissue.
I'm afraid, practise makes perfect!!!! Try using a flat headed eyeliner brush, and dip into something like mac's fluidliner. Then just dab it along the lash line, and then smooth it out. See xsparkage's videos. She uses this sort of method.
And if you just can't do it, try using a crayon khol pencil, or a techni pencil (one you wind up).

Yeah, it's a great little brush. It's from Napoleon Perdis. I don't think you can get Napoleon stuff in France. I am looking into trying to sell some stuff on my website. Check back with me a bit later on that one.

Mine is a Rimmel dark brown eyepencil. I don't even know if it's specifically for eyebrows!!! But yeah, best to try and buy an eyepencil that is for the brows, again because of the consistency reasons you listed!

You can see the line on it.. you know the part that the lashes are on. And also it doesn't stick well and I have a hard time getting directly on the lash line. Any tips?
Firstly, try lining your lashes with ink liner or khol pencil before applying them. Then apply the lashes. That way if you see the gap between your natural lashes and the fake ones, it's well hidden. You will always see the ribbon that the lashes are on. And you should rest the falsies on top of your natural lashes. You need to blend them together with eyeliner, like go over the top of them. Oops! I forgot to list it. It was just a Napoleon Perdis white eyeliner. If you don't have access to Napoleon stuff, a Mac powerpoint pencil is equally as good!

Ok... me personally.... I would wear it to parties, or for an evening out. I'd be more inclined to wear the Audrey Hepburn look on less formal occasions (as in my Audrey Hepburn video). But I never think to wear false eyelashes for the day, but it's definitely something I would wear for a party (and we have many of those!).

Thank you! Ummm... I use a Napoloeon Perdis one. WHat you need to look for is an eyeliner that has a little creamier texture, you don't want the pencil to be too dry. You can always trust brands like Mac to have a good pencil.

I use it on the inner eye/waterline only on the lower eye. It does go away after a few hours. You can just reapply. Or try a water resistant pencil.

Good quality lashes- I particularly like Mac and Inuovi.
And rocker and girly.... I love The Veronicas style for that sort of look. They are very girly, but not too frilly! I'll see what I can do.

And if you just can't do it, try using a crayon khol pencil, or a techni pencil (one you wind up).

Yeah, it's a great little brush. It's from Napoleon Perdis. I don't think you can get Napoleon stuff in France. I am looking into trying to sell some stuff on my website. Check back with me a bit later on that one.

Amy, the thing I love about your tutorials is the fact that almost all your looks are wearable! Many other artistas make great vids/looks too, but they are often too dramatic and unrealistic to wear out in the streets.

Mine is a Rimmel dark brown eyepencil. I don't even know if it's specifically for eyebrows!!! But yeah, best to try and buy an eyepencil that is for the brows, again because of the consistency reasons you listed!

She didn't really show anything and it's confusing. She cut the essential parts, like, applying everything on. She just showed when she had them on. No offense but I've watched other videos of hers too and they're not very clear, either.

Vintage pinup makeup video. Think Christina Aguilera in the uniform in Candy Man. Love it. Or if you are going in camouflage, then maybe go for a smokey eye, and dirty the face wtih face paints.

And since Mac have brought out a whole new range of lashes, and new packaging... I still have no idea! Usually by the time I have uploaded the video, the packaging is long gone!

I have a lot of trouble applying false lashes.
You can see the line on it.. you know the part that the lashes are on. And also it doesn't stick well and I have a hard time getting directly on the lash line. Any tips?

Firstly, try lining your lashes with ink liner or khol pencil before applying them. Then apply the lashes. That way if you see the gap between your natural lashes and the fake ones, it's well hidden. You will always see the ribbon that the lashes are on. And you should rest the falsies on top of your natural lashes. You need to blend them together with eyeliner, like go over the top of them. Oops! I forgot to list it. It was just a Napoleon Perdis white eyeliner. If you don't have access to Napoleon stuff, a Mac powerpoint pencil is equally as good!

Ok... me personally.... I would wear it to parties, or for an evening out. I'd be more inclined to wear the Audrey Hepburn look on less formal occasions (as in my Audrey Hepburn video). But I never think to wear false eyelashes for the day, but it's definitely something I would wear for a party (and we have many of those!).

Thank you! Ummm... I use a Napoloeon Perdis one. WHat you need to look for is an eyeliner that has a little creamier texture, you don't want the pencil to be too dry. You can always trust brands like Mac to have a good pencil.

Hi. Yes I do wear contacts. These are Freshlook Colorblends in grey! THese look the most natural on me compared to the others.
