  • yes i have. and Shockwave still is more impressive. Its even better then the Super Shockwave

  • @SoccerBoy77 this one is faster and it comes very close, but i do agree the shockwave is more impressive

  • i've seen this truck many times in xenia, ohio. it has a f4 phantom jet engine

  • SU-27+truck=aircraft carrier catapult G,s

  • Shockwave is better

  • @SoccerBoy77 this truck and shockwave have raced before and this one won........so who's better?

  • @killer420ization perhaps it won the race, but as for being impressive, just 1 engine and a shaking cab.....not very impressive.

  • @SoccerBoy77 have u seen him in person?

  • its sounds like a plane revving up!

  • any1 get the number for rod's window cleaning services?

  • haaa quen dera se meu scania 111 fisese isto!!!

  • i was there i was in the booth at mir

  • That truck is pretty cool but i think shock wave is much better. check it out

  • idk i've seen this one in person and its pretty sick check out the video where shockwave is raced against this truck, its only 1/8 mile, but its sick

  • Thats Bob Motz, the eng is a J-79 out of an F4 Phantom. He a a small APU that starts the 79. The white smoke is fuel being dumped into the afterburner but hes not igniting it. The Larger Flame show occurs when he lowers the rpm and dumps a chit load of fuel in the burner. Seen it as long as 30+ feet out the back. Words cant describe the sight and sound, ya just have to see it in real life ;)

  • Are the exhaust stack flames from a seperate fuel source?

  • I've seen Canadas FX and Rolling Thunder compete against each other, two years in a row. These jet cars also use an engine out of a Phantom 4, but I wonder if it's the same engine size. Do Phantom 4 jet engines come in various sizes or just one size? The engine in the truck above appears to be bigger in diameter and shorter. It's quarter mile time is not much different from the Canadian cars. That truck really rocks. Its propelled down the track.....effortlessly.

  • I know Brad and Bruce. Their cars use and engine called a Westinghouse J-34 (much smaller). The J-79 that many of these big trucks use are from General Electric and a WAY bigger than the 34's. Hope that helps you out. The F4 Phantom only used the J-79's

  • Kool, yes. Thats their names. They came to my state in 2005 and 06. Wasn't there last year, but I hope to see them compete in 98.

Those engines, as small as they are compared to the J-79s, were very intimidating, loud, powerful ... to say the least. EVEN WHEN I stood on the bleachers, about 100 plus feet away , the roar of those engines would create a sensation in my chest!!

  • if it had the fith wheel on it i wouldnt take a load to texas on that but i would kinda too

  • hey 53belly53, well um MY dad can beat IYUR dad in a corolla! so there!!! My dad is better na na na na!!! dork!!!!!

  • my dad could beat that in is lamorghini g-rt

  • yeah, sure. I dont know of any lamborghini that can run the 1/4 in less than 7 seconds

  • The hell with the Lamborghini....never seen a Lamborghini powered by a jet...seen him run a couple times under the lights well they turned the lights out and let him run off his headlights...freakin awesome.

  • why don't you try to beat him on your push bike?

  • no he didnt

  • youre an idiot, do you want it to twist under thrust

  • there should be a Geico add in the backround!

  • hauhauihaiua locura hein..

  • ball shit they need to get hot, it sall for the show

  • Haha thats cool!

  • i was in my box seats and the after burner burnt everones hair one year

  • lol thats so cool

  • yeah they need to warm up, they actually run on diesle fuel instead of jet fuel, thats why there is so much smoke during the engine warm up.

  • Actually a jet engine doesn't need to warm up. They get up to operating temps within seconds of starting. You are right about the diesel fuel however. Jet-A and diesel are virtually interchangable and aviation fuel is just refined a bit more, but essentially the same stuff. So why all the delay and smoke? So nobody would notice how boring it would be otherwise.

  • dont they need to get hot enough first?

  • @imhiya long time no? I SNIFF HOT CHIKS DIRTY PANTIES! with yellow stain on them m mm mmm mm!

  • What the hell took so long for a truck to blast off
