You've got the bass tone spot on. Do you mind if I ask what effects you're using?

@chicagominimal I use a Line 6 Bass pod XT Live, for amp sim and a bit of distortion, then into an original Electroharmonix Clone Theory chorus pedal, it gives lots of hiss but the sound is unique, the new ones haven't quite got it. My video "Bass Tones" gives a run through of how each effect changes the sound.

Very cool--thanks for posting this. I've always loved this song--New Order's first breakout into metro-disco! I got the digital delay effect to work during the verse by adding a Boss Tremolo into the EH Clone and Muff mix, with the Tremolo rate at about 11 o'clock-ish. Very awesome videos, Jed--keep them coming!
