  • @buckwheat40 Hey :) I used to weigh 220 pounds at 5'3". I couldn't do pushups or even run a mile-without being out of breath or creating stress on my knees. But then, I just started walking. Eventually, I was able to run. Now I'm 170 and trying to lose 30 more pounds. Your body will get stronger and build more stamina. Just keep your head up.

    HOW TO LOSE FAT

    1) Cut out carbs in the evenings (eat low "GI" carbs throughout the day)

    2) Choose exercises that burn the most calories (NOT sit ups and curls)

    Ex. Squats, Lunges, Pull Ups etc.

    3) Perform high intensity interval training.

  • the key to getting in shape is to surround yourself with the right people, if you are in the presence of people that are eating healthy, running, getting sleep, and focused on health and fitness you will be able to maintain your health and fitness routine, the biggest obstacle we face is friends and family that are overweight, and eating unhealthy food, negative role models make it easy to relapse into bad habits again

  • 6 hours of cardio a week and don't eat too much crap maybe once a week and not too much, don't be like "oh that is impossible 6 hours a whole load of bollucks etc" I did 90 minutes 4 days in a row of swimming quite fast, you can do 5 of like 72 mins each or so, it kept me thin if you want to build muscle then you need to get to a stage where you are thin and bullk up carefully and tactfully and do less cardio, also try a diet and burn 1200 more calories than you consume a day.

  • i love your video, you are so right. its all about setting your mind and going for it. i set my mind to running because i wanted to look good for my cousins wedding and i lost 10kgs in 7 weeks, it was great losing the weight but also that i can actually focus on losing it, i love running so much that i do it 6 times a week and its great. i feel so much healthier and looking better :)

I ran myself 4 stone lighte in 6 months. running ftw! i went from 18stone and now im 13stone 8. im signed up for my first ever triathlon and also my first ever 10k in london. i run a minimum of 5k per session, and at least one 10k per week, every other day. play football and swim aswell. i started in august 2010, and feel superb. didnt even diet lol. keep running mate!

  • I guess I'm lucky, I have had chronic asthma since 30yrs ago. I am on Advair & have never-ever had an issue since. Full disclosure, exercise never was an asthma trigger for me, cold weather was, breathing it in, even just walking. Now, never a problem. Its the one good thing my doc finally did for me. Ask your doc about it, you won't regret it! :)

  • Gd stuff! i've always wanted to run, and i've had a yo-yo weight problem for most of my life. i joined a running club, and even joined a paddling club, got into them both, found out i'm stronger than i thought, then i got pregnant - depressed, and piled on the weight, my doc thinks i have onset on rheumatoid arthritist ,not easy with sore joints, but u were inspiring - i'm fasting at the moment2detox, n transition into raw foods,still dreaming of running and experiencing that addiction too!!

    First of all I would like let you know - you're not overweight..

    2nd of all:You're only 10 years old - You're still growing and you will be growing till the age of 18-20

    you NEED some bodyfat to grow.

    Just try to eat healthier and allow yourself some treats.

  • @blakasassin1 Run as far as you can, take a break till you catch your breath, then run some more! That way you're doing sets, which is the way body builders work out. :)

  • @blakasassin1 I have asthma too and I can run. I just had to take it really slow at first and concentrate more on breathing than most people do. I found some lung capacity exercises and they really helped me. I had to learn how to breathe properly, and now I don't have asthma attacks anymore! It's awesome. However, don't be stupid, take your inhaler with you for the first few months. Because it will take a while. Hope this helps, good luck!

  • I'm 12 I live in city. Every street is always full, cars, humans ... So i have no place to run. I'm too lazy to do push- ups and stand ups help for your legs not for your belly. Ya so no home workouts. I rode bikes for about I don't know... 1 year + straight? At last summer I was riding bikes with my friend every day, 10 - 40 kilometres a day.     hey brother....eating is 80% of the battle, not exercise. Just eat meats, vegetables and eggs. You will lose a lot of weight. We did a test on childhood obesity. All of the kids were losing 10-15lbs per month by just eating properly.

    Ignore all the nutrionist regarding fiber, low fat, etc. It's the processed foods with flour, sugar, some dairy fat, etc which makes and keeps us fat.

    Keep it simple: meats, vegetables, eggs, almonds
