  • Nice job!

You should have painted the walls over the counter , they are yucky! It could have been the same color as the door (grey-)

  • its looks good no matter what anyone says

  • I LOVE your kitchen. Anyone can have a kitchen with granite counter tops and the Pottery Barn look (which I'm getting kind of sick of), but your kitchen is unique and interesting.

  • @onewomanandsomesongs Thank You!

  • This is great! I'm wanting to create a kitchen that will use recycled material and is non-toxic. People are consumed with new without thinking about the chemicals and process it took to make the materials which will affect everyone in the house and environment. Thanks.

  • @Nene1192 Oh you betcha. Cheap too.. hahahahaha..

  • Awesome. pure awesome

  • @paq13 Thank You!

  • Wow ive been watching your videos for a while now mr rpeek but have only just stumbled across these older ones. Amazing my partner really loves furniture like this im going to show her this video clip tonight when she gets back form work, seems like i'll be busy when we buy a house of our own !!! thanks for the inspiration.

  • love it! hope i could do something like this too... it could save me a lot of bucks!

  • @MontalbanOnDenny It's true. Kitchens are expensive and most of the ones you buy at the big box stores are made out of card board..

  • @rpeek True! I just did some renovations with our kitchen. Too bad i dont have the talent that could save me a lot of money.... I tried to keep the budget low though, but i wanted it to look as decent as i could afford so i couldnt help but spend some bucks.... wish i have talent like you do....

  • @MontalbanOnDenny Well, there's nothin' wrong with a nice lookin' kitchen. Have to keep mama happy.. haha.

  • @rpeek agree!!! organized kitchen doesnt just make you comfortable, it also brings happiness..... thanks for the video.... it was very helpful and inspiring. keep it coming please..... thanks!!!

  • man, great idea dude, thanx... i could use this cos it'll suit the rustic place i got planned... recycling yeah, its the way to go!

  • Screw "green", If it makes sense for what you are doing then OK, if you are going green thinking you will save the Earth, screw you too. We are not going to make a measurable differnce in climate. Why are other planets experiencing climate change? Do you really think we are causing other planet changes? Earth has been changing for billions of years. We are not the reason. I do like your use of junk, I use junk because it saves me money and effort when it makes sense.

  • @specialks1953 I love junk! You can't get this stuff at Walmart.. hahahahahaha..

  • great job man for fre stuf you can,t go wrong and you can sure built nice stuff out of it good vids man

  • @mecanicman66 Thank You!

  • thanks alot for sharing you kitchen looks great ......

  • Good job, handy, easy & cheap. A single observation: you should have painted uniformely in white, the result should be even better. Anyway, my congratulations.

  • very cool, and thanks for sharing. Unique and creative, you've created something really wonderful there :)

  • you should have finished by taking a dump in the sink to match the front of the cabinet

  • yeah buddy..you said it..it's one of a kind...and THANK YOU! ONCE IT HITS THE LANDFILL THERE'S NO TURNIN BACK..that's what i love about junk...you'll never find it in a store..and it just feel soooo good to reuse and it looks SO COOL! ppl pay top money buyin things BRAND NEW to look old...i love to dumpster dive..we do clean up days here in town..i'd say 90% of my stuff is from a curb or thrift store..THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU..it's not old lookin..it's 'rustic'...hehe

  • @amo22601 Yessir! Rustic. Actually I love this old stuff so much better than press board laminated stuff they sell in the stores.. Just love it. Thanks.

  • Dude!

  • absolutely love it .. got character ! New Yankee workshop eat yer heart oot ..

  • Very creative!

  • thank you for sharing this video.

  • Nice Ned Neck kitchen

  • Roger on the red neck.. hahaha

  • Come to think of it,you got a rat rod house!

  • Yea, I'm sort of livin' in a rat rod world here.. hahahah. My own private rat rod idaho.. haha

  • you just gotta be born with this mentality,i admit im the same way.i can make somethin out of nothin, and proud of it.thanks.

  • Yea, I think so.. Thank You!

  • that's nice and ghetto.

  • Yea, nothing like living in the fast lane.. hahaha

  • as long as you have fun doing it, that's all that matters. To each his reach. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank You..

  • I love the random parts makeshift look. I am researching junk building just to get a feel for what others are doing.

  • I like that too... Thanks..

  • It definitely has more character than the prefab cabinets you'd get anywhere else. My wife & I both love that vintage farmhouse look you've got going on. It's giving us plenty of ideas for when it comes time for us to switch from apartment life to owning a home. Thanks for sharing!

  • Yea, I'm pretty good at makin' stuff out of junk. Kind of works for me. I'm movin' towards partnering up with someone here, and not sure how her taste (she has taste) and my tendency to make stuff out of junk is going to work out. We'll see.. haha

  • ur wife must be really proud of u.

  • wow i think it looks great actually! especially cause it was all free and stuff. People seem to value things a lot more when they don't buy it. Id love to make my own kitchen.

  • I've had a ball with this old house. Wicked fun..

  • Brilliant, love it!

  • Thank you!

  • Nice work, dig your sprit!

  • Thanks. Just trying to keep busy. Keeps me out of trouble..

  • It is good to see someone make something out of nothing.

  • That's what I do best... Thanks.

  • Like seeing it come together.. your volume on this one is almost completely silent though... had volume turned all the way up and still couldn't hear everything.

  • Really enjoy seeing your work, an art form really ;) each piece with it's own history and character. Thanks! BTW, really nice table you got there ;)

    Maddy;)
