I think this is the song Faye said was the point things started going wrong because Claire got the lead vocals and they all became backing singers.

@msmuscat87 Faye shouldn't complaine, she probably was invited to the group, not because her voice (she have a mediocre voice, that's why her solo career didn't work out), but because her good looks. H, Clair and Lisa was a good singers, Faye and Lee had not that good voices. But they both where good looking, could dance and sing. The group needed 5 parts harmony and they got them. By the way Clair have a better voice in the goup, that's why she got so many solos.

But she not even thought, that maibe she was one of who push Clair to resine. I like Steps, but when I watched the Steps Reunion I undestand, that each an every one of them are in fault that this group disbanded. Each o them to selfish, to think about anyone, but themselves.

@rina5054 But in the end they put their ego's and differences aside and started to work together again. On my opinion everything with Steps happened for the reason. Maybe they should've stop to be pop stars and started their own lifes. Now 3 of them married and have kids, Lee have his fitness company, H have his amazing house in country with his partner. If they didn't stopped 10 years ago, who knows what kind of life they would have now.
