my Balisong is super light and when im spinning it on my finger i only do one rotation, and then about halfway through my second it flies off im not sure whether its to light or im just spinning my finger to hard
Thoroughly enjoyed the video. I don't own a Balisong and can't imagine myself twirling a knife at neck height but I enjoyed the video. Pretty good video editing also. Cheers!
Does the weight of the knife make a difference with this move? I don't really have a high quality knife and when I try this it doesn't seem like its possible with this knife and I'm not quite sure if it's the knife or that I need more work
@captainronny49 Well there are some knives that may be very hard to accomplish it on, One being the benchmade 53, If your balisong has very light handles then you will have a harder time.
welp, this looks really cool to me but being in the uk i found it very hard to find a balisong, even looking for a trainer one, i couldnt even buy the comb one's, so i ended up having to buy a baliyo from baliyo.com because it was the only place that would post here :(
so being a plastic one would this trick work?
and also i would apreciate it if you put some sort of indication on the description for your later videos saying if it is possible with the baliyo :)
I couldn't do chaplins until I practiced resting my elbow on my knee while crouching down. my problem was my elbow was going all over the place. also try twirling to like a techno beat bmm-tss bmm-tss bmm-tss the rhythm goes alot like the chaplin.
whats that move you do at the beginning and like 2:15 when you say "okay so..." and you open the blade with that move? the one that looks like you spin in up and then put your hand down and spin it again, then bring it back up to open it?
I don't understand how you catch the knife after doing the rotation, can you or anyone else help me with this?

@randomkirbydanceman A chaplin will work on a baliyo. I do it all the time, All of my tricks can be done on a baliyo.

@CalviNNation
oh ok ty, i know you "support" baliyo alot so i thought you might do most tricks that work with baliyo but i couldnt be sure, ty for the response.

@BalisongLover70 It is a move pretty much Identical to Behind the 8ball, just a couple rolls over the fingers.
CalviNNation 7 months ago
@flargel22 It sure is a fine knife.
