  • Yeah "fuck Ibanez get a Gibson"...You probably don't have to think alot before saying something THAT stupid, really! I mean why get a fantastic guitar and save LOTS of money when you can spend sh*t loads of money for a Gibson?

  • Ibanez guitars are a disgrace to guitars!! Get a real Gibson!

  • @Martinezlopez113 A guitar is a guitar. Get over yourself.

  • nc guitar ! i have an sg 75. ;-)

  • It's looking good! A friend has the same one, completely original. I have a very cool black Ibanez custom from 1978. They sound marvellous!

  • those kitchen cubbards are filled with fiber board... known to cause cancer. look a little closer. they are not musical instruments.

  • never knew ibanez made a les paul,i got a epi les paul and just got a joe pass epi, love them both.

  • nul a chier copie conforme de la vrais gibsaon les paul

  • fuck ibanez. get a gibson!

  • @bluesboydude Older (and some newer)Tokai ,Greco ,Edvards and Ibanez LP's are/were way better than Gibsons, at a fraction of a price. These are fantastic guitars.

Gibsons are way overpriced. So is the bullshit about bolt on necks.

    Ask Jimmy Hendrix.

  • @MrMemag iknow :) but i dont really like ibanez xD

  • @bluesboydude Exactly what I said!!!

  • @Martinezlopez113 haha :P then we thinking the same about ibanez!

  • i have a black custom inlayed neck

  • i had no idea about the ibanez les paul... ha why not just get a gibson?

  • @rayman5839 these were for the japanese community in japan, they just made their ways to america over the years.

  • @JimmyPage968 not exactly - Ibanez were primarily aiming at the US and European markets. They had the guitars made by FujiGen Gakki. Ibanez left the Japanese market to another company (Kanda Shokai? I forget), which marketed virtually the same guitars made by Fuji Gen Gakki under the Greco name.

That;s why Gibson commenced a lawsuit against Ibanez (who changed their headstock design to comply) whereas Greco and all the other Japanese builders still make Gibson-style headstocks to this day.

  • Is it true that if a guitar has no strings on it for a while its bad for the tension rod?

  • @0pethMetal Yeah, you don't want to leave it like that for months. This one was sold. Thanks for checking it out, they are excellent guitars.

  • @0pethMetal guitars can be quite ok to have up to 2 weeks, bass guitar, wouldn't recommend more than 2 hours ^^

  • very minor fretwear....duh

    put some strings on it..

  • How much are you asking???

  • i have that exact same in black!!!

  • i think 06mgibson is a retard

  • man im surprised,i was planning to get an epiphone les paul, but there arent any in our country so i got an art500,which is better?art500 ir ibanez les pauls

  • I GOT FCKIN BLACK ONE:D

  • put some strings on that damn thing..I wanna hear it!!

  • it has no strings.... play the damn thing

  • epiphone is better coz its owned by gibson and this has a bolt on neck, unlike epiphone so you dont get as much sustain

  • @06mgibson if you had ever played one of these you would be surprised.

  • @filtecuk i have... i prefer my epi... it does have more sustain. i hate bolt on necks

  • they make les paul copies but the only two companies that can make 'les paul' and write it on the head-stock are, gibson and epiphone =]

  • didnt know ibanez makes les pauls

  • Great guitar, man. I have a 2650 with set neck in the same color. Awesome instruments :-)

  • cool guitar! is this a 2350?

  • And why is that? The old ibanez copies are VERY good and loads op ppl love them. All old ibanez guitars made in japan are awesome and underrated

  • Bolt necks are NOT bad. So, you can hear the difference between this and a thru-neck, right? Bull. At least you can change it if it breaks. Strats and PSRs use bolt necks and many more I could mention. Only Gibson promote the notion that thru-neck is sonically better. They really are not though.

  • actually they arnt youre right. its craftmans ship. which it looked up apon. but if my neck snaped i would like to replace it rather then buying anoyther 3k lp.

  • bolt necks are bad!

  • not really

  • they just don't have as much sustain but if the nexk start to bend alot you can just replace it so its sorta better

  • @TheExoticMuffinsPet Sustain is not solely a neck connection thing. There are nut, wood type ,type of strings, tension, bridge, tailpeace ... I found that bolt is no inferior to set necks. I think it's marketing bullshit.

  • ill have it. seriously

  • Nice Guitar, I play a 1977 Ibanez 2650 8like Les Paul Custom) in Chery Sunburst with a seit-in neck. I love the Super 70's pickups

  • if you dont want that guitar, you can give it to me :)

  • got one too. great guitar.

  • I have the same guitar:D

  • Nothing wrong with a good bolt-on. Ever thought of all the brands and models that do have a bolt-on? I own both, bolt-on and set neks, and I like em both. My bolt-on les pauls '76 and '78 sound and play better than most recent set neck Gibsons. they even sound better when I think of the price I paid for it ;-)

  • @Sufferd666 Absolutely right. There is a ridiculous snobbery about bolt-on neck les paul type guitars. The advantage of bolt-necks is that as the guitar get older, you can easily maintain the neck joint. You can drastically improve any bolt-on neck guitar by cleaning and sanding the contact surfaces for maximum contact (and therefore resonance transfer) between body and neck.

For example, Godin have only just started making a set-neck guitar.

  • there's nothing atall wrong with bolt ons. take for example every guitarist who's ever played a strat. yea...

  • a traditional les paul is a set neck.
